Why Synthweaving and Underworld Trading together?

So I am almost level 600 in Synthweaving, Archaeology and Underworld Trading, but noticed I rarely use UT for mats?

Should I keep UT, as it doesnt seems to be needed for Synthweaving, and replace it with Slicing, or will I lack materials end game?

Underworld Trading is my lowest level skill, yet I never notice its there since I rarely need the materials from it.

ut is mainly used for blue/purple stuff, which tbh is something u rarely craft

What are you crafting that doesn't take underworld mats?

The main credits in synthweaving are from making the cosmetic armors or the tier 11 set bonus gear - all need underworld mats.

The armorings need underworld mats.

Augments need underworld mats.

About the only thing that doesn't need underworld mats is war supplies. If all you're doing is crafting war supplies just take up biochem like everyone else who doesn't actually want to craft.

At endgame, you need Archaeology, UT, and Slicing mats to even make your basic Bonded Attachments. Before endgame, UT mats are only necessary to make blue/purple crafted gear.
