Jedi_Kaysha
Correct. Several patches ago, they removed all Dark Side / Light Side restrictions from the Color Crystals. Any class can now use any Color Crystal, the only limitation is level.
Djspyder
Any Jedi with Artifice can Make and Use A Red Color Crystal For their saber.... The two basic Types You can craft with No research are... Crit crystals and Endurance crystals. If You Do not have artifice or know someone with it, You can still Find/buy Any Color crystal and use it, but it may be a little bit pricey. Edit: You can Go to the GTN and try to find One for sale... But I doubt you will find a lvl 10 crystal... Most color crystals I've seen on the GTN are High lvl... but if you just hit lvl 10 you need to chose a crew skill, so I would go with artifice since You get saber hilts, Color crystals, enhancements and shield/focus generators... Harlequintwo
Yep. I just bought the cheapest one off of GTN and put it in my saber. Word of warning though - you WILL stick out of the crowd like a sore thumb. I've also found that it works best when wearing white.

Randombot
It saddens me a little that they removed the restrictions for those. But methinks, it was because they didn't have too many colours for Dark siders.

Harlequintwo
I don't see why its bad to be unique, who cares what others think? No no no, I didn't say that. In fact, I'm using a red saber right now. I'm just saying that anyone who expects to blend in seamlessly as a Republic will be poorly mistaken. Quite fun in warzones though against the enemy. Numene
Yep. The devs removed the ONLY decent perk for going dark over light. I know I'm glad that whole system is in the game....
