What are the Objective Meridian Tau mechanics?

Recommended Posts

Can anyone explain the Tau Fight mechanics with the shield and Sabre emblems. I know if you stand in the icon that has them on the ground it changes them on you and them. Is there a point to this and if so, what’s the strategy.

Your tank supposed to kite Tau out of the shield and into the Sabre basically. Because Shield reduces damage taken while Sabre increases damage dealt (I think)

We did many MM runs and have yet to figure out the tactics, but as long as we kill it, there is no need to analyze any further :)

It seems that those circles have their effects, like it was mentioned, increased damage, reduced incoming damage, etc, there are times when Tau is invulrneable and also when she is reflecting. The tank simply kites the boss around and we eventually kill her.

At first you kill all the adds and dps Tau while avoiding the circles she puts.

You need to keep your backs away from the circles because Tau can knockback you into them.

When the next wave off adds and the tank and sabre relics appear:

Dps need to stand in sabre relic and dps Tau. Ignore adds.

Tank needs to move Tau and adds out of both relics.

Tank can stand in Shield relic if also tanking adds or stand in dps relic if tanking tau only.

Healer needs to stand in shield relic if tanking adds and dps on Tau is high (can easily tank them in there) or move the adds near the edge and knock them off if Tau dps is low.

When Tau starts casting Breath of Ossus everyone needs to stand in the Shield relic to avoid the damage.

Tau should be dead after that.

Thanks for the info.

What does Breath of Ossus look like so I can recognise it.
