The guild has been redesigned to be a Jedi role playing guild. Since we just started to recruit, our numbers are very low. For the Beacon of Hope forums, click here! For generations, the Jedi Order has been the guardians of civilization and the defenders of peace and justice throughout the Republic. Following the return of the Sith Empire, the Jedi Order stood against their old foes. However, during this age old struggle, a new enemy appeared and crushed the Jedi Order, the Republic and the Sith Empire. After surviving the new wars with new enemies, the Jedi Order looks to rebuild after their numbers were greatly reduced. But the Jedi Order's old foe, the Sith Empire still lurks in the darkness, ready to strike back again. The galaxy needed hope once more and to see the light through the darkness. The Beacon of Hope was reborn. Many Jedi within the Beacon of Hope lost their lives and returned to the Force due to the wars. Jedi Master Othone, with approval of the Jedi Order High Council, sought to rebuild the Beacon of Hope to be that light in the darkness. The Beacon of Hope, an enclave within the Jedi Order, has several goals. Their main goal is to find young force users and train them in the ways of the traditional Jedi. They will stand against any darkness that tries to harm the people of the Republic and the galaxy. What is the Beacon of Hope? The focus of the Beacon of Hope is a role playing guild as traditional Jedi, training the next generation of Jedi, and having adventures around the galaxy. The Beacon of Hope has a master/padawan system ready to go for anyone who seeks to start as a padawan and work their way up the Jedi ranks. There will be weekly events set up and run by the members of the Beacon of Hope. The Beacon of Hope is involved in all aspects of Star Wars: The Old Republic. We also encourage all our members to get involved in all aspects of the game. Our aim to have the Beacon of Hope as a family friendly guild. We expect all our members to be respectful towards everyone in the guild and everyone who is not in the guild. We encourage random role play, so feel free to walk up to any Beacon of Hope member and start role playing. All events that are hosted by the Beacon of Hope are open to everyone, regardless of guild tag. History: The Beacon of Hope was started in Star Wars Galaxies. When the game announced its closing, the Beacon of Hope was brought into Star Wars: The Old Republic. The Beacon of Hope was located on the Ebon Hawk server before the server mergers. It is now located on the Star Forge server. The Beacon of Hope will always focus on quality role play. This guild was rebuilt by Othone and McCay starting in December 2017.
