Terrible waste of resources. Just awful. Players will likely spend less than 1% of their time in game standing inside the player house. Weeeeeeeeeee! Whoooopity dooooo!

There is NO WAY IN HELL this is a more important feature to players than all the topics on these forums that players are BEGGING you to address devs......

May as well given us an alternate emote for walking slower or another key for backing up? Super useful stuff.

While it's cool that it's happening if we had a choice between PvP content (more maps, cross server) or player housing I think we all know which we would pick. Though since cross server is never happening and they release around one warzone a yearish eh.

I voted for every housing positive option, the 'NOTE:...' and 'I hate you for...' Because really, what the hell do you expect PvPers to care about? Yes, I want a Huttball League first, but player housing is something else to do. The new 'savior' game, Wildstar, has housing. These aren't mutually exclusive options.

That will never happen of course.....that would be too fun and seem too obvious to implement into the base building aspect.

I mean the devs couldn't possibly believe we'd actually wanna use our bases as a pvp arena.....

This is exactly it. They are allowing PvP AND PvE to stagnate to utter boredom while they added in GSF and now Housing. I'm 100% for both GSF and Housing, just not at the expense of the things that have KEPT people here.

If i can stand in my house with access to mail, GTN and a PvP Terminal i like the feature.

 

I actually loved decorating my houses in SWG, but i have no hope that we will get anything near that "freedom" here.

 

I do agree with the posters above though, this isn't and shouldn't have been any form of priority. At all.

I could care less really. There was player housing in FFXI but I only ever used it because thats where storage was and it was also where the moogle was to change your class and you used your house for gardening to craft crystals for elemental staffs that were popular with mages/bards.

 

Outside of that, I never used the actual house itself in terms of decorating outside of the furniture that had stats to them to increase my chances to get crystals. Unless it has some significant purpose to it I find the entire thing pointless but I suppose some people like that stuff. Why? No *********** clue, but to each their own I guess.

I just want a mailbox in the pvp section. Why is there a mailbox in every section of the fleet except the pvp section?? :tinfoil:

 

I see player housing as the same as my ship, only less mobile. I find it appealing for aesthetic reasons. Otherwise, could not possibly care less, care-o-meter is registering zero.

The pvp quest hub should be in wzs in 2.7 if I remember right: no more reasons to leave my ship/house except to buy things. I'm looking forward to legacy storage. But... houses aren't enough to keep me from trying other games. And if either turns out to be any good at all I will be gone.

this poll really means nothing since i voted more then once using foxy proxy and Firefox kinda make the result not really valid. There is the problem with polls they can be manipulated over the internet by running through proxy and VPN's

You can already do this on your ship. Ships that were designed to take the place of player housing. The only thing that this update is for is to allow for CM to be used in conjunction with housing. For whatever reason they couldn't ffit it in ships and needed to start from scratch.

I'm excited because it helped me decide to unsub when I had been struggling with the decision. Been supporting since launch. Can't give them any more of my money since they truly hate me because I like to PvP. I'm all for player housing, I don't have anything against it, but it's not what the game needed at this time. They keep adding side-games instead of actually improving the game they already have. BW, please stop trying to be a casual game and cater to hardcore PvP/PvErs.

Don't care about the Player Housing. Do like the idea of Legacy Storage though.

This thing like so many others should have been in the game since day 1, Like the Nar Shadda casino should have been neutral territory where both side could meet, play pazak, duel or insult each other. OMG I just absolutely loved the Saturday night bar fights, We used to have in the Bar on Tatooine, when I played SWG. I also spent lots of time and money on my house in SWG, but than again it's just me.

They better allow me to Duel in MY OWN flippin' house to make my time pass between queues or I'm gon be pissed. Not that I expect them to allow it...I mean, if they managed to think of something as irrelevant as player housing while the game needs other much more pressing issues to be looked at, that just proves the point to which they have no idea of what to do...
