If you'd like us to search the forums for pre-existing thread on a topic we are about to post on then why not put a search box at the top of each page next to start thread button.

There is a search function. It's called the Next Page button and using your eyes. That makes more sense than putting some button that can search for keywords...

to my knowledge this is still disabled .... go go google bar....
