Reivalyn Posted June 17, 2012 Share Posted June 17, 2012 (edited) This is caused, at least in my case, by running in windowed mode. I believe that the application is allowing the Alt+# keystroke to bubble up to the operating system, which Windows then handles with the default beep sound. I "fixed" this with the following steps: open Control Panelopen Sounds and Audio Devicesgo to the "Sounds" tabselect the "(None) option for the "Default Beep" sound This is not a great fix, since you're essentially disabling this sound for the entire operating system.
