Hey everyone!

 

Some of you, are frantic players like i am and are eager to push your buttons before every GCD ends but you noticed a small delay in the activation of the skills.

 

In fact this is something you can change in the preferences menu > controls > scroll down and change the ability delay from 0.5 to 0.0.

 

For some reason the default setting is 0.5 seconds, wich makes you feel like your skills arent beeing responsive.

 

Go change your settings and give it a try, im sure it will feel much better.

Doesn't really do much. The issue isn't inherent to the ability queue. What would help is the queue actually being longer.

 

A full 1.5 second queue would enable most attacks to be chained together a little more seamlessly.

 

But that's just a band-aid. The real issue that needs to be addressed is the client-server lag.

I have no issues, so what is this issue?

 

Let's say there's a skill called Fire Laser.

 

Fire Laser has a 2-second cast time.

 

You get to watch a little cast bar fill up.

 

Once the cast bar finishes filling up and disappears, you hit a key to fire off another skill.

 

But it doesn't work! Your character's still in an animation. You'll have to hit that key again once the animation stops.

 

But that one didn't work either! There's a small period after the animation ends where you still can't fire off another skill!

 

Hit that key a third time! Yay, it went through.

 

Repeat ad nauseam.
