Im a bit confused about the stats on these sets of gear, I have been under the understanding that my most important secondary stats are Crit and Surge...but on these sets of gear Im going to lose a great deal of both, there is a couple pieces that have crit and surge but the rest have power and accuracy, Is there something that I just dont understand or should I just avoid the ones that dont have crit and surge?

No, you should buy the pieces that have the stats you want, rip them out, and put them into shells with the set bonus you want. By no means should you use the various pieces with their default mods. Edited July 16, 2012 by Rhaphael
