PROLOGUE: The Sith Inquisitor

The power of the Dark Side grows. The Sith Empire has won a major victory against the Galactic Republic and its Jedi guardians, conquering and enslaving many new worlds.

With a fragile peace in place, the Empire sends its slaves to the ancient Sith Stronghold, Korriban, hoping to unearth relics of vast power that can be used to dominate the galaxy.

Suffering the Ultimate humiliation of slavery for being a descendant of an ancient, long-dead, fallen Sith Lord , pureblood Xin Tao, powerful with the force, has been released from servitude allowed to join the Empire’s cast offs and given one last chance of mastering the dark arts of the Sith or die trying…

Of Mind and Matter

Enter the Sacrificial Chamber

Xin Tao has been pulled from the ranks of salves on Korriban and given a chance to complete the trials of the Sith Academy and become Sith, much to the disgust of his instructor, Overseer Harkun. Xin Toa’s first trial is to find the sacrificial chamber in the tomb of Ajunta Pall and speak to the hermit Spindrall, who will test his worth.

Speak to Spindrall

As commanded, the dark acolyte sets of to the Ajunta Pall’s tomb to complete his task. Xin Tao reported to Spindrall, who has chosen to test him by throwing his acolytes at him. Xin Tao must, now defeat Spindrall’s acolytes or fall to their blades.

Having bested Spindrall’s Acolytes, Xin Tao returned to the old hermit for his judgment. Unsurprisingly, Spindrall gave Xin Tao his approval for successfully completing his first trial. The dark acolyte, now, sets off to report to Overseer Harkun in his chambers in the Sith Academy.

The Plight of the Acolyte

Having earned the approval of the hermit Spindrall, Overseer Harkun has given Xin Tao his second trial, but not many details. The dark acolyte must go to the jails of Korriban’s academy to learn the dark art of Sith interrogation from Inquisitor Zyn.

Interrogate Alif

Xin Tao has received the details of his second trial from Inquisitor Zyn. A fellow acolyte, Alif, has witnessed a murder within the Academy but refused to name the murderer. Xin Tao has been authorized, by Inquisitor Zyn, to get the information out of Alif, by any means necessary. Xin Tao must speak to Alif and obtain the name of the killer.

After some persuasion, Xin Tao managed to get a name out of Alif. He reported back to Inquisitor Zyn, who took the information and informed the dark acolyte that the second trial is completed, and he must report back to Overseer Harkun for further instructions.

A little Knowledge

Overseer Harkun is determined to see the pureblood Sith Ffon Althe become Lord Zash’s apprentice, and has decided to give Xin Tao an impossible task. Overseer Harkun informed Xin Tao that his third trial was to travel to the wilds of Korriban and enter the tomb of Marka Ragnos. There, the dark acolyte needs to retrieve an ancient holocron that no Sith has ever been able to retrieve for a thousand years.

Xin Tao heads to the shuttle droid outside the Academy and commissioned a taxi to the lower wilds. Having reached the lower wilds, Xin Tao must enter the tomb of Marka Ragnos and find the monument chamber.

Xin Tao found the monument chamber that holds the holocron. But, now, he must find a way to remove the holocron from the monument in the tomb of Marka Ragnos. Removing the holocron from the monument proved difficult. It appears to be protected by some sort of trap. Xin Tao struck the monument with his practice blade, but instead of shattering, a swarm of Shyrack Foragers appeared out of nowhere and attacked the dark acolyte.

After cutting down the Shyracks, Xin Tao summoned the force, and in a fit of rage unleashed a powerful wave of force lightening at the monument, shattering it into bits. The dark acolyte retrieves the holocron and sets off to the Sith Academy to report hid achievement to Overseer Harkun.

The Secret of Tulak Hord

Having survived every torment Overseer Harkun has devised, Xin Tao sets out on the most difficult trial yet….

This time, for the fourth trial, Lord Zash herself has requested a text from the tomb of Tulak Hord. The complete text, however, has been divided between three tablets in the tomb. Lord Zash wants all three. Xin Tao travels to the monster-infested tomb of Tulak Hord to collect the tablets from the antechamber, the machine vault and the archives.

Cutting through Shyracks, reprogrammed battle droids, and Kor’slugs, Xin Tao managed to collect all three tablets from Tulak Hord’s tomb, and now makes his way to Overseer Harkun in the Academy to report his success.

Martial Law

As the Sith trials near and end, Overseer Harkun grows increasingly furious over the dark acolyte’s success at the trials. To remedy this, he has sent Xin Tao to complete a trial of combat. Xin Tao is to report to the combat training room on the second floor of the Sith Academy, and speak to the training master there to train at the arts of Sith combat…

It is a set up! Overseer Harkun has ordered Balek and Wydr to kill Xin Tao. The dark acolyte must defeat these assassins to both pass his trial and foil Harkun’s plot. Letting his anger fuel his power in the dark side of the force, Xin Tao summoned a powerful death field that completely obliterated his would-be assassins.

Having survived the ill-conceived assassination attempt on his life, Xin Tao returns to Overseer Harkun in the Academy to show him just how futile his attempts to stop him are.

A Map for the Future

Xin Tao has been given his final trial. He must venture into the tomb of Naga Sadow and retrieve an ancient map for Lord Zash. Unfortunately, to get the map, he has to awaken an ancient creature known as the Dashade. To access the Dashade’s chamber, Xin Tao must first gather the ancient rods hidden throughout the tomb of Naga Sadow.

The dark acolyte has found the rods necessary for the awakening ritual. He must place them at their altars inside the Dashade’s chamber. Xin Tao performed the ritual and entered the Dashade’s chamber. It appears the Dashade is not merely asleep here, but imprisoned. Xin Tao ventured inside the chamber to investigate.

Xin Tao has awakened Khem Val, the Dashade, and learned that he devours Force users. After being imprisoned for centuries, he is very hungry. The dark acolyte must defeat Khem Val and force him to help him find the ancient map.

Having defeated Khem Val, the Dashade, he should be much more cooperative. Xin Tap must now force him to show him the way to the map.

With Khem Val now in his service, Xin Tao should be able to clear the debris wall blocking the way into the innermost chamber of the tomb of Naga Sadow. With Khem Val’s help, Xin Tao found the ancient map, and now returns to Overseer Harkun at the Sith Academy to report his success.

Xin Tao has completed his final trial. Lord Zash, his new master, has requested a personal audience with him in her chambers in the academy. The dark acolyte heads to the second floor or the academy to report to Lord Zash.

Go to Dromund Kaas

Lord Zash wishes to tell Xin Tao about her plans for the map he retrieved; however, she feels she cannot do so on Korriban. Instead, she will meet with her new apprentice in her chambers on Dromund Kaas, the capital of the Sith Empire. Xin Tao sets off for the transit shuttle pad at the far end of the Valley of the Dark Lords in order to board a shuttle to the Imperial Fleet.

Onwards to Dromund Kaas

Upon reaching the Imperial Fleet, Xin Tao was approached by a Duros, who identified himself as the Black Talon Valet. He advised Xin Tao that a regular shuttle usually takes weeks before it reaches the capital world, Dromund Kaas, and Lord Zash has arranged a berth for him on the Black Talon.

Xin Tao had quite an eventful trip onboard the Black Talon, which included killing a disobedient captain, recapturing a deserter and killing a Jedi Padawan.

Finally, reaching Dromund Kaas, capital planet of the Sith Empire, Lord Zash asked Xin Tao to meet her in her chambers in the Sith Sanctuary in Kaas City. However, Xin Tao must first check in. He must use the arrival console in docking bay 0-17 of the spaceport, in order to do this.

Travel to Kaas City

A new apprentice in the Sith Order, Xin Tao comes to Dromund Kaas, the seat of the Empire’s power, to help the scheming master Lord Zash in her pursuit of a powerful artifact. However, Xin Tao must beware Dart h Skotia, one of Lord Zash’s most powerful rivals…

Xin Tao sets out for his rendezvous with Lord Zash. However, the roads between the spaceport and the city are known to be particularly hazardous. Xin Tao’s best bet will be to take a speeder into the city. He must speak to the taxi droid outside the spaceport, and take a speeder to Kaas City.

At the Foot of the Colossus

Darth Skotia stands between Xin Tao and the lost power of Tulak Hord. Lord Zash has a plan to defeat Darth Skotia, but it requires some preparation. Xin Tao’s first task is to retrieve a Trandoshan relic that Darth Skotia hid beneath the unfinished colossus.

To find the relic, though, the dark acolyte will need the archeological plans of the site. He now travels to the unfinished colossus to gather the fragmented archeological plans from rebel slave engineers.

The relic lies in Darth Skotia’s hidden bunker; Skotia’s security has been activated. Xin Tao must disable the monitoring stations.

The Dark Acolyte found his way into Darth Skotia’s hidden bunker and further into his reliquary. Having recovered the Trandoshan relic, the first piece of the puzzle has fallen into place. Xin Tao returned to Darth Zash, in the Sith Sanctum, in the Citadel, to report his success.

Dismantling the Machine

Lord Zash has commissioned an anti-cyborg weapon in order to defeat Darth Skotia. Unfortunately, the scientist who developed the weapon, Dorotsech, is being held captive by the rogue Sith Lord Grathan

Lord Zash has procured a keycard that should get Xin Tao in to see Dorotsech. The Dark Acolyte must venture in to Cybernetic Lab in Lord Grathan’s Estate and use the Keycard to open the door and free Dorotsech. Then, retrieve the weapon and dispose of him.

Xin Tao found Dorotsech in the Cybernetics Land on Lord Grathan’s Estate, but he does not appear to have the weapon. Xin Tao must find out, at once, from Dorotsech, where the weapon is then ensure his silence.

Before Xin Tao retrieves the weapon, however, he will need to find a means to power it. Dorotsech mentioned that Grathan’s droids power cells would work. The Dark Acolyte set about destroying the droids around the Estate and confiscating their power cells.

When Xin Tao collected enough power cells, all that is left is for him to infiltrate Grathan’s bunker and retrieve the weapon. Xin Tao entered the weapons research lab on the second level of the Central Compound of Lord Grathan’s Estate and defeated the security droids protecting it. Seeing that the coast is clear, he took the cyber neutralizer, and hurried back to the Sith Sanctum to speak with Lord Zash.

Giant Killer

It’s time to execute Lord Zash’s plan to defeat Darth Skotia. Xin Tao took the Trandoshan relic and the cyber neutralizer and sets out to confront Darth Skotia in his chambers in the Sith Sanctum.

In Darth Skotia’s chambers, his bodyguards have been dealt with. Xin Tao used the cyber neutralizer to disable Darth Skotia’s cyborg components, and then defeated him.

Having defeated Darth Skotia, Xin Tao decided to speak with him to hear his last words. Now, that Darth Skotia has been defeated, nothing stands between Xin Tao and the lost power of Tulak Hord.

Lord Zash has been at a party at the Nexus cantina in order to have an alibi for the murder. Xin must go to Lord Zash in her private room at the Nexus Room cantina and reports his success.

Lord Zash’s plan seems to be working perfectly. Everyone, including the powerful Darth Thanaton, believes that she killed Darth Skotia, but she has the perfect alibi. Lord Zash has asked Xin Tao to meet her in Darth Skotia’s old chambers in the Sith Sanctum. Xin Tao now heads there to see what her next move is.

In the Hall of Traitors

With Darth Skotia defeated, and Zash promoted to Darth, the way is now clear for Darth Zash and Xin Tao to find the powerful artifact they seek But the artifact is hidden in the Dark Temple, a place of terrible dark side energy, and guarded by a ferocious apparition. The first piece of the artifact is buried within the innermost chamber of the Dark temple , protected by a vengeful spirit that Darth Zash has foreseen only Xin Tao can pacify.

Armed only with Darth Zash’s vision of a pacified apparition, Xin Tao ventures into the Dark Temple to face the ghost and claimed the artifact. Darth Zash has given him a glyph to open the innermost chamber of the temple.

Deep inside the Dark Temple, Xin Tao met the spirit of Kallig, an ancient Sith Lord who claimed to be his ancestor and warned him not to trust Darth Zash. He’s departed, leaving Xin Tao free to retrieve the artifact.

After meeting the spirit of his Sith Lord ancestor, Kallig, Xin Tao have managed to retrieve the first piece of Tulak Hord’s lost power from the Dark Temple. Darth Zash will be very interested in his success. He must contact her immediately via his holocommunicator.

Darth Zash ordered Xin Tao to bring the artifact to her in her new chambers in the Sith Sanctum wing of the Citadel.

CHAPTER ONE: Legacies of Old

As tensions mount between the Empire and the Republic, Xin Tao, apprentice to Darth Zash, leaves the confines of Imperial space in search of the lost artifacts of the legendary Dark Lord of the Sith, Tulak Hord.

Darth Zash believes one of these artifacts to be hidden on the planet Balmorra, where war rages continually between its Imperial conquerors and a tenacious resistance movement. To recover the artifact, Xin Tao depends on the cooperation of the Imperial military and the defeat of the Balmorran resistance…

Plans

Xin Tao is on the trail of the lost artifacts of Tulak Hord, which are believed to be key to a secret ritual that will grant him great power. Darth Zash has given him a starship to expedite his search. He, now, heads to his starship’s private hangar in the Dromund Kaas spaceport.

Travel to Balmorra

Darth Zash has traced one of these artifacts to Balmorra. Therefore, Xin Tao must use his ship’s galaxy map to travel to that war-torn planet.

NOTE: BALMORRA

Once an independent corporate and manufacturing world, Balmorra was defended by the Republic and conquered by the Empire during the war. Now, the corporations have mostly fled, local collaborators have been rewarded with positions in the Imperial puppet government, and an entrenched and well-armed resistance opposes the Empire’s rule.

Despite brutal retaliation be the Imperial military against military and civilian targets, the battle to eliminate the resistance drags on. Droid factories and industrial waste sites have become battlegrounds. The main Balmorran spaceport is in the city of Sobrik, an Imperial military stronghold heavily fortified against resistance attacks.

Speak to Major Bessiker

Darth Zash has traced the artifact to an ancient vault, which is now a crater filled with toxic waste, on Balmorra. She has directed her apprentice to the Imperial resources officer on Balmorra for further assistance in his recovery efforts. Acolyte Xin Tao musty report to Major Bessiker at his office in Imperial headquarters in Sobrik to continue his search.

Scientific Inquiry

Xin Tao and Major Bessiker have developed a plan to enter the toxic waste-filled vault where the artifact is hidden. Balmorran scientists genetically engineered an insectoid race called Colicoids to be more resistant and even feed on the toxic waste. Major Bessiker suggested that Xin Tao search the nearby records vault for more information. The Dark Acolyte heads to the records vault in the Gorinth Canyon.

In Gorinth Canyon, Xin Tao recovered the research data on the treatment process from the nearby records vault. He must now report back to Major Bessiker at his office in Imperial headquarters in Sobrik to analyze the information.

Extraction

The recovered data describes a mutagen that Balmorran scientists invented to adapt the Colicoids to the toxic waste. However, Major Bessiker’s chief scientist, Iannos Tyrek, recently defected, and he is the only person who can recreate the mutagen. Intelligence reports indicate that the scientist is at Camp Kono Nolan in the Markaran Plains.

Xin Tao infiltrated Camp Kono Nolan and subdued Iannos Tyrek, the chief scientist, who recently defected. He can now recreate the mutagen. However, there is an incoming holocall from Major Bessiker. Perhaps he’s eager for a report on the acolyte’s progress.

The Path to Power

The defected scientist, Iannos Tyrek, is back under Imperial control, but Major Bessiker refuses to create the mutagen that Xin Tao needs to obtain the artifact unless the acolyte save his son, Hiran, a Sith apprentice, who has been captured by the Republic. Bessiker reported that Hiran is being held at the command office of Outpost Victory in the Gorinth Plateau.

Xin Tao infiltrated the Outpost and freed Hiran. He now heads to Imperial headquarters in Sobrik, to report the good news to Major Bessiker.

Back at headquarters, in Sobrik, Iannos Tyrek has created the mutagen that Xin Tao needs to enter the toxic vault and recover Tulak Hord’s artifact. Xin Tao spoke to Iannos, who instructed him on how to use the mutagen, but not before, warning the acolyte of the dangers of injecting himself with it.

Into the Pit

The artifact is in Vault 305 in the Balmorran Arms Factory. Xin Tao has survived the serum’s mutagen, but the vault is full of Colicoids feeding on the toxic wastes. The Dark Acolyte must fight his way in to the depths of Vault 305, if he wants to recover the artifact.

Xin Tao has found the artifact but a mutated Colicoid broodmaster is defending it. After clearing the Vault of its Colicoid inhabitants, Xin Tao recovered the artifact, and returned to Imperial headquarters, in Sobrik, for debriefing. After the debriefing, in Sobrik, Xin Tao returned to his ship. His now contacts Darth Zash via holo to receive his next mission.

The Call

Darth Zash has traced the next artifact to Nar Shaddaa. She has instructed her apprentice to travel to Nar Shaddaa and contract her via the ship’s holoterminal to learn more about the artifact’s whereabouts. When Xin Tao arrived in Nar Shaddaa’s airspace, he immediately placed a holocall to his master, Darth Zash.

The Prophet Arrives

The artifact of Tulak Hord, on Nar Shaddaa, is in the hands of the Sith cult leader, Lord Paladius. Darth Zash has arranged a contact for Xin Tao, Destris Veran, who was once a follower of this cult. Xin Tao must rendezvous with Destris, at the Promenade, to plan their overthrow of Paladius.

When Xin Tao arrived at Destris Veran’s hideout, on the Promenade, it was under attack by minions of cult’s former master. Xin Tao ignites his saber staff and attacks the Screaming Blade cultists, who have stormed the hideout. After saving Destris’ life, Xin Tao, now, sets a plan in motion to take revenge on Lord Paladius.

The Krayt Gang

Xin Tao has decided that the best course of action was to draw Paladius’s followers away from him. To that effect, he has determined that the best way, to make a name from himself and garner some support, is to take out the leader of the notoriousd Krayt gang. The Krayt gang is reported to have their hideout in the Corellian Sector.

The plan was to take out the Krayt gang’s leader, Saben, who believes he is descended from the legendary Krayt dragon on Tatooine. Xin Tao has arrived at the gang’s hideout and must now prove his might by defeating Saben and his bodyguards.

The Dark Acolyte leapt in to action and crushed the leader of the famed Krayt gang, which now proved his dominance on the streets of Nar Shaddaa. Word of his might must already be spreading, as Rylee is trying to contact him. Xin Tao must find out if his plan worked, by contacting Rylee via holocommunicator.

Manufacturing Miracles

Rylee Dray has secured a new base for Xin Tao’s followers, a former shelter known as Strell House. It is located on the upper level of the Promenade, and Xin Tao heads there to plan his next move.

Upon reaching the upper level of the Promenade, out of nowhere, one of Paladius’s henchmen blocked Xin Tao’s advance. This is proof that the Dark Acolyte’s efforts, to draw followers away from Paladius, are working because he has sent one of his henchmen to kill, Xin Tao. With a wicked grin, Xin Tao ignited his saberstaff and made short work of Gar-Nok and his screaming Blade enforcers. The Dark Acolyte is now free to enjoy his new base of operations, in Strell House, and plan his next move against Paladius.

Paladius’s followers are defecting to Xin Tao’s cause. Paladius is feeling the effects and has called an emergency rally. Xin Tao has come up with a plan to create a “miracle” at the rally. Destris Veran has recommended that the Dark Acolyte sees engineer Gord Madel about making it happen. Madel’s office is in the Duros Place of the Duros Sector.

The Big Show

Having convinced the crooked bureaucrat, Gord Madel, to create a false groundquake, Xin Tao prepares to crash a meeting of Paladius’s cult with the detonator that Gord Madel gave him. This should both impress and terrify Paladius’s followers. Xin Tao set about interrupting the rally at Meridian Hall in the Upper Industrial Sector.

Xin Tao showed up at the rally and shook the very ground beneath Paladius’s followers’ feet. Most have been scared fleeting; some are in awe of Xin Tao, but those still loyal to Paladius are irate. Xin Tao must dispose of the Screaming Blade cultists still loyal to Paladius before moving on to the next step of his plan. The Dark Acolyte also disposed of those who would not bow. The remaining cultists waited for him to speak. Xin Tao recited the Sith code to the Screaming Blade devotees.

The cultists are awed by Tao’s power and wisdom and have sworn their loyalty to him. The Dark Acolyte now returns to Destris Veran, at Strell House, to plan his next move.

The Final Act

Lord Paladius has contacted Xin Tao and offered to give him the artifact, if only Tao leaves him in control of the cult. Paladius has arranged for, Xin Tao, Destris Veran, and Rylee Dray to meet him in his sanctuary in Network Access. The Dark Acolyte knew this was a trap but decided to go there anyways.

As suspected, Paladius had a trap waiting for Xin Tao. He has drained some of Tao’s Force energy and is now trying to kill him, Destris and Rylee. The Dark Acolyte must summon whatever Force he has left to defeat Paladius and his bodyguards, and then retrieve the artifact that is rightfully his.

Despite Paladius’s treachery, Xin Tao has defeated him. The Dark Acolyte now speaks to Paladius and will pass judgment accordingly.

The artifact of Tulak Hord is now Xin Tao’s. He has removed power from Lord Paladius, and Tao’s control of the worshipping masses of Nar Shaddaa is absolute. The Dark Acolyte now returns to his ship, at Mezenti Spaceport, to contact Darth Zash via his ship’s holoterminal to report his success.

Preparations

While Xin Tao has been searching for the artifacts of Tulak Hord, his ancestor, Aloysius Kallig, believes that Darth Zash will betray him. And that he must prepare himself for the battle to come. Lord Kallig sensed a powerful artifact of his being unearthed on Korriban. Lord Khreusis, whose stronghold stands high above the Valley of the Dark Lords, now wears the mask of Kallig, and Xin Tao must retrieve it. The Dark Acolyte sets a course for Korriban to retrieve his ancestor’s mask.

Unsurprisingly, Lord Khreusis would not part with the mask willingly, so, Xin Tao must take it by force. Having claimed the mask of Kallig, from Lord Khreusis, Xin Tao returns to his ship to contact Darth Zash via his ship’s holoterminal.

Andronikos Revel

Xin Tao is still on the trail of the lost artifacts of Tulak Hord, which are believed to be the key to a secret ritual that will grant him great power. Darth Zash has traced one of the artifacts to Tatooine. The Dark Acolyte must consult his ship’s galaxy map, and plot a course to the planet of Tatooine, a barren desert wasteland where the galaxy’s criminal elements go to disappear...

NOTE: TATOOINE

A harsh desert planet off all the major trade routes, Tatooine is known for its heat, its sand, its dangerous wildlife – and little else. Only a few settlements dot Tatooine’s endless wastes inhabited by handfuls of traders and moisture farmers. Tatooine’s obscurity has also attracted a small but significant criminal population, here to hide from galactic authorities.

Tatooine lacks any central government or allegiance to Republic or Empire. There are rumors of an Imperial occupation taking place in one of the frontier settlements, but nothing has been confirmed.

Andronikos Revel Cont’d

A pirate named Andronikos Revel is the key to locating the artifact on Tatooine. Lord Zash has instructed her apprentice to speak with Ka’van Aip at the spaceport for information on where Andronikos could be located.

After some persuasion, Aip revealed that Andronikos can be found in a private room at the Siltshift cantina in Mos Ila.

The Pirate and the Girl

After speaking with the pirate, Andronikos Revel, Xin Tao learned that Revel’s former mate, Sylas Wilkes, has the artifact. Andronikos knows a woman named Casey Rix who should be able to set up s meeting with Wilkes. However, Xin Tao must go to the Ugarra Dunes, through Mos Ila’s northeast pass, in order to speak to Casey Rix, inside the Zarazan Farmstead in the north.

Through Casey Rix, Xin Tao has set up a meeting with Wilkes. Tao must now rendezvous with Andronikos at the Siltshift cantina, and tell him about the meeting with Wilkes.

Vengeance

With the help of Andronikos Revel, Xin Tao managed to locate the base where Sylas Wilkes and the artifact were hidden. Andronikos insisted in coming along to get his revenge. So, the pirate and the Dark Acolyte set out for Sylas Wilkes’s base in the Southern Jundland Chasm.

Xin Tao and Andronikos managed to gain access to Wilkes’s base but they must now defeat him and his bodyguards, and force Wilkes to hand over the artifact.

Into the Dune Sea

Wilkes’s men have taken the artifact that Xin Tao is after, as well as, Andronikos’s prized blasters, into the deep dessert. Xin Tao has discovered a camp and a data pad that may contain clues as to their current whereabouts. The datapad has pointed Xin Tao further into the desert. The dark Acolyte sets out for the Dune Sea to find traces of Wilkes’s men.

Xin Tao has discovered another abandoned camp and a data pad; this one also points further into the dessert. Xin Tao soon discovered that one of Wilkes’s men, Paal, has gone mad and tried to deliver the artifact to the Sand People as tribute. Tao must now head into the Sand People territory of the Dune Sea.

The Dark Acolyte has finally recovered the artifact of Tulak Hord and has gained Andronikos Revel as a crewmember and ally. Pleased with his current success, Xin Tao has decided to contact Darth Zash from his ship’s holoterminal in the Mos Ila Spaceport.

The Secrets of the Jedi

Xin Tao heads to Alderaan, a planet in the throes of civil war, in pursuit of the last of Tulak Hord’s artifacts. But securing the artifact will require tact, deception, and cunning, on a world of political schemers and shifting alliances…

NOTE: ALDERAAN

Alderaan is a mountainous world of lush forests and grasslands, ruled by an assembly of noble houses and an enlightened and advanced citizenry. A founding member of the Republic, Alderaan has been traditionally admired for its wealth, its art and its thinkers, while the deadly intrigues and politics of the nobility have been downplayed.

Recently, those intrigues erupted in civil war, and Alderaan –now officially withdrawn from the Republic – sees conflict it hasn’t known in ages. The Republic is backing House Organa’s quest for the crown, whereas the Empire backs the former House Thul exiles. Palaces and fields have become pockmarked by cannon fire, and house armies clash on the battlefield.

The Secrets of the Jedi Cont’d

Xin Tao is still on the trail of the lost artifacts on Tulak Hord, which are believed to be key to a secret ritual that will grant him great power. Darth Zash has traced one of these artifacts to Alderaan. Tao’s ship, now, hovers over Alderaan, as he placed a holocall to Darth Zash for more information.

Darth Zash has informed her apprentice that an eager House Thul is willing to help him locate the artifact on Alderaan. House Thul’s contact is Elana Thul, who eagerly awaits Xin Tao’s arrival.

Xin Tao landed on Alderaan and took a shuttle to Thul House. There, he learned that the key to the artifact’s hidden location is in the hands of a powerful Jedi from House Organa. Elana Thul believes that House Alde’s library might have valuable information that can be used to manipulate Jedi Master Nomar Organa, who holds the key to the vault where the artifact is stored. Xin Tao sets out for House Alde.

The Dark Acolyte has infiltrated the House Alde library, and began searching the library archives for any information of interest regarding Nomar Organa.

Xin Tao found a holorecording in House Alde’s library that showed that the Jedi, Nomar Organa, was romantically involved with a lady of House Rist, twenty years ago.

A Woman Scorned

With the help of Elana Thul, Xin Tao believes that Rehanna Rist may be able to help him lure Nomar Organa to Alderaan. Xin Tao must, now, travel to the Juran Mountains and contend with House Rist’s deadly assassins, in order to locate Rehanna Rist.

Upon reaching Rehanna’s residence, Xin Tao was ambushed by a team of deadly Rist assassins. The Dark Acolyte managed to survive the ambush, and must now break down the door to Rehanna’s chambers and confront her.

Rehanna Rist refused to help Xin Tao, so he must bend her will by defeating her in combat. Having defeated Rehanna in combat, Xin Tao convinced her to summon Nomar Organa to Alderaan, who agreed to meet her in the Killik tunnels.

Secret Rendezvous

Having lured Nomar Organa back to Alderaan, Xin Tao prepares to face the powerful Jedi Master and convince him to hand over the keys to the Elysium and the resting place of the last artifact of Tulak Hord…

Xin Tao has arrived at the Aesea Killik tunnels to meet with Nomar Organa and Rehanna Rist. After talking with Nomar, Xin Tao realized that he is not giving up the Elysium vault key. Xin Tao will have to take it by force.

Just as Xin Tao was prying the vault key from Nomar’s cold, dead hands, Elana Thul was calling on his personal holocommunicator. Elana Thul called to ask Xin Tao aid her Sith in an assault on the House Organa Jedi Enclave.

The Dark Acolyte must infiltrate the House Organa meditation Room in the Glarus Valley and assist the Sith in their assault.

Xin Tao has infiltrated the House Organa Meditation Room and found the Sith in dire need of his assistance. He witnessed the Jedi Strike Commander kill Urtel Moren. Now, it is Tao’s turn to face the Jedi.

The Dark Acolyte struck down the Jedi Strike Commander and completed the Sith’s mission. He noticed a holotable nearby, and decided to contact Elana Thul to report the news.

In the Halls of Elysium

With the Organa key in hand, Xin Tao can now recover the artifact from the Elysium. House Thul has set up a personal shuttle for him. He boarded the shuttle to the Elysium in the Glarus Valley. However, upon entering the Elysium vault, Xin Tao found a powerful droid guarding the artifact. He must destroy the droid and claim the artifact.

Having acquired the artifact, Xin Tao returned to his ship, at the Rhu Caenus Spaceport, and contacted Darth Zash regarding his latest accomplishments.

Inheritance

Xin Tao has collected all of the lost artifacts of Tulak Hord. Darth Zash wants him to meet her on Dromund Kaas, so that he can begin the ritual. The Dark Acolyte plots a course to Dromund Kaas and jumps to lightspeed.

Xin Tao jump out of hyperspace and enters orbit over Dromund Kaas. He places a holocall to Darth Zash. However, the apparition of his ancestor, Aloysius Kallig, appears and convinces the Dark Acolyte that a showdown with Darth Zash is inevitable. In preparation for the confrontation, Kallig requests that Xin Tao retrieves his most powerful artifact, his lightsaber. The lightsaber should be on Nar Shaddaa.

The lightsaber was entrusted to the Escalus line. Mila Escalus, the latest descendant of the Escalus line, is a waitress in the Star Cluster Casino on Nar Shaddaa. Xin Tao must find her and retrieve his inheritance.

After speaking with Mila Escalus, at the Star Cluster Casino, Xin Tao discovers that her father gambled away the lightsaber to a nefarious criminal named, Gyl Rosen. Rosen is believed to be at Charnax Industries, in the Upper Industrial Sector.

Xin Tao confronts the cheating gambler, Gyl Rosen, but he refuses to hand over the lightsaber. The Dark Acolyte killed Rosen and took the lightsaber, but it is in a genetically locked case that can only be opened by someone of the Escalus lineage. Xin Tao returned to the Casino and Mila Escalus opened the case for him. Xin Tao must return to his ship and contact Darth Zash.

Legacy

At last Xin Tao has gathered the fragments of Tulak Hord’s artifact and is ready to undergo the ritual. Darth Zash has promised that this ritual will give him great power, and that soon, the galaxy will kneel before him.

On Dromund Kaas, Darth Zash has asked that Xin Tao meets her in the Dark temple, where he first met the spirit of Aloysius Kallig. Zash has also asked that he brings Khem Val, as she is afraid the ritual may disrupt the bond between them, if he is not present. However, Aloysius Kallig is convinced that Zash will betray Xin Tao within the Dark Temple and has warned him to prepare himself for the fight of his life.

Xin Tao took Khem Val and set out to meet Darth Zash in the inner chamber in the mezzanine of the Dark Temple.

Darth Zash has betrayed you. She plans to use the ritual she’s learned from the artifacts of Tulak Hord to steal Tao’s body. She is strong in this place, but he must find a way to defeat her. Before the battle, she claimed that the bond between Xin Tao and Khem Val was strong. The Dashade Shadow Assassin could be a useful all. The Dark Acolyte must find a way to defeat his master.

Having defeated Darth Zash, all that remains is to remove the force fields that she used to trap Xin Tao within the Dark Temple.

CHAPTER TWO: Sith Hierarchy

War breaks out between the Empire and the Republic, as the galaxy plunges into deeper chaos, a new Sith Lord, Xin Tao, establishes a power base and begins to rise to eminence in the Sith hierarchy.

Having just recently defeated Darth Zash, it is time for Lord Xin Tao to set up is affairs as Darth Zash’s successor. The Sith Lord went to Darth Zash’s old office in the Sith Sanctum, where he immediately received a holocall from Darth Thanaton.

Lord Xin Tao must appear before his new master, Darth Thanaton, one of the Empire’s most prominent Sith. He ventures to the tomb of Darth Andru outside Kaas City to meet Darth Thanaton and answer for Darth Zash’s death…

Darth Thanaton has made it clear that he wants Lord Xin Tao dead and has ordered him to retrieve an artifact from the tomb of an angry dead Sith. Darth Thanaton wants Lord Xin Tao to demonstrate his loyalty as his new apprentice by recovering the lost writings of Darth Andru. The Sith Lord must search the tomb of Darth Andru on Dromund Kaas and recover his lost writings.

In Darth Andru’s tomb, Kallig protected Lord Xin Tao from the Sith spirit, but Lord Tao must become stronger before facing Darth Thanaton. Kallig told his descendant of an ancient Sith ritual, buried in the Dark Temple, which binds ghosts to a Sith strong enough to wield the ghosts’ power. Lord Xin Tao must travel to the tomb of Ergast in the Dark Temple, and learn this ritual.

Upon entering the tomb of Ergast in the Dark Temple, Lord Xin Tao tried to access the ritual holocron to learn about the ritual.

The Padawan

Lord Xin Tao has learned the ritual that will allow him to defend himself against Darth Thanaton, but he must, first, steal the power of Sith apparitions to use it. The Sith Lord has travelled to Taris in search of a Sith apparition. Entering Taris’s airspace, Lord Xin Tao summons his companions, in the briefing room, to discuss the mission before shuttling down to Taris.

NOTE: TARIS

Taris was once a city-world, home to a planetary metropolis. Three centuries ago, however, it was bombarded by the great Darth Malek and left a toxic ruin. The years since have not been kind to Taris, as vegetation and animal life struggle to gain a foothold in shattered skyscrapers and habitats.

The Republic began to recolonize Taris less than a decade ago, aiming to makei t into a symbol of Republic hope and steadfastness. In response, the Empire is mobalizing troops and beginning a full-scale assault. Early reports speak of fierce resistance from the Republic, as well as, natural hazards in the form of wildlife and the mysterious “rakghoul plague.”

Darth Zash has suggested that one of her former followers, Elios Maliss, might help Lord Xin Tao locate the apparition on Taris. The Sith Lord must take a shuttle down to Taris and find Elios Maliss in his chambers inside the Toxic Lake Garrison.

Through Elios Maliss, Lord Xin Tao learned that the apparition on Taris is guarded by Jedi. Maliss suggested that the Sith Lord corrupt one of the Jedi Padawans, Ashara Zavros, and force her to take him to the ghost, who is also Zavros’s ancestor. Lord Xin Tao must learn more about Ashara Zavros by viewing records of her Jedi trials on databanks throughout the Brell Sediment.

Lord Xin Tao has learned a great deal about Padawan Zavros from the databanks at the Jedi training grounds. He must now contact Elios Maliss via holocom, from his current location inside the Second Colonial Protectorate, and let him know what he has discovered about Ashara Zavros.

Laying the Trap

The Sith Lord, Xin Tao, has decided to take advantage of Ashara’s pride by offering her a powerful Sith holocron. But, first, Lord Tao must retrieve the holocron from the transport station. However, the Padawan is not so easily deceived.

Lord Xin Tao realized that the best way to gain Ashara’s trust is to play on her fears. Lord Anathemos should be able to help the Sith Lord stage an attack where he can pretend to save Ashara in order to accomplish his goal. Lord Anathemos is at the Border Assault post.

Lord Xin Tao spoke with Lord Anathemos and hired his men to chase Ashara Zavros to a swamp so he can pretend to rescue her and win her over. Now that he has hired Anathomos’s assassins, he’ll need to get in touch with them to make sure they’re in place.

In order to get in touch with Ashara Zavros, Lord Xin Tao needs to find a Republic holocommunicator. Republic troopers patrolling near Transport Station 5 should have one. The Sith Lord must retrieve the device from the one of the Republic armsmasters in the Republic settlement camp.

Having retrieved the device, Lord Xin Tao contacts Ashara Zavros pretending to check in on her.

Means of Persuasion

The Sith Lord told Ashara to meet him in the bombed enclave. However, Elios warned that the Republic sent troopers to patrol the area. Before Lord Xin Tao can meet with Ashara, he’ll need to clear out the Republic troops patrolling the inside of the bombed enclave.

Having cleared the area around the swampy enclave of Republic troopers, Lord Xin Tao is ready to meet Ashara Zavros.

The hired assassins of Lord Anathemos have showed up to attack Ashara Zavros inside the bombed enclave. Now Lord Xin Tao can fend them off in order to save her from them and convince her to help him.

The Apprentice

Lord Xin Tao has persuaded Ashara to help him get inside the Jedi enclave ruins, where the ghost of Kalatosh Zavros resides, in order to bind the apparition. The Sith Lord must go to the haunted Jedi ruins in the Republic Resettlement Zone, and speak to Ashara so that she can summon the ghost.

However, Ashara’s Jedi masters have decided against allowing the Sith Lord to summon the ghost and will defend it at all costs. Lord Xin Tao must defeat Jedi Masters Ryen and Ocera inside the haunted Jedi ruins, if he hopes to summon Kalatosh Zavros.

After striking down the Jedi masters, Elios Maliss has shown up at the haunted Jedi Ruins wanting to claim the ghost for Darth Thanaton. Lord Xin Tao will have to fight Maliss and his guards to stop him. Elios Maliss and his minions were not match for the Sith Lord. And they were easily defeated. Now it is time for the Jedi Padawan to summon the ghost.

Lord Xin Tao has successfully bound the ghost of Kalatosh Zavros, and the Jedi Padawan Ashara Zavros has agreed to join him. The Duo must now return to Tao’s ship to debrief the mission.

Thanaton Strikes Back

Lord Xin Tao’s apprentices called him claiming they have information that can help him defeat Darth Thanaton. However, Thanaton’s agents attacked Lord Tao’s apprentices’ ship and forced their emergency landing on Quesh. Lord Xin Tao must consult his galaxy map and plot a course to Quesh so he can save his apprentices from Thanaton’s wrath.

When Lord Xin Tao arrived on Quesh, he received a distress from Kaal and Corrin who are on the run from Thanaton’s lackeys. Kaal informed his master that he and Corrin have stolen a key to Darth Thanaton’s mediation chamber. The Sith Lord must hurry to their location before they become undone by their pursuers.

Lord Cineratus, an agent of Darth Thanaton, has killed Lord Xin Tao’s apprentices for stealing Thanaton’s meditation chamber key. The Sith Lord must take revenge on Lord Cineratus at the abandoned warehouse on Quesh, and retrieve the key to Darth Thanaton’s mediation chamber.

The Sith Lord managed to defeat Lord Cineratus and acquired the key to Thanaton’s meditation chambers. He now returns to his ship to speak with his companions to plan his next move.

Acquiring a new apprentice would secure Lord Xin Tao’s place in the Sith hierarchy again and weaken Darth Thanaton’s political position. The Sith Lord must travel to Korriban to speak with Overseer Harkun about a new apprentice.

When the Sith Lord arrives on Korriban he must seek out Harkun at the Sith Academy arrival port about a new apprentice.

Lord Xin Tao has spoken to Overseer Harkun on Korriban, and the Overseer promised to inform the Sith Lord when a new batch of Sith slaves have completed their trials. The Sith Lord returns to his ship to meet with his companions.

Scouring the Wastes

There were rumors that a Sith apparition brought down a ship over the planet Hoth. Lord Xin Tao plots a course to the planet Hoth, in the distant outer rim.

NOTE: HOTH

Few life-forms can survive on the ice planet Hoth. Between its subzero surface temperatures, shearing winds and frequent whiteouts, the environment should be considered extremely hostile even to properly outfitted individuals; mechanical equipment and communications technology are prone to freeze and malfunction as well, making any minor setback potentially lethal.

During the war between Republic and Empire, the Hoth system was the site of a major fleet battle. This resulted in a large number of starships falling into Hoth’s gravity well and crashing on the planet surface. These derelict ships have become the base of operations for a large group of pirates, as well as, a center of dispute between Republic and Imperial forces.

Lord Xin Tao has reached Hoth, and has called a meeting with his companions. Andronikos Revel has heard rumors of a ship called the Starrunner, believed to have been brought down by an ancient Sith apparition.

Perhaps the Imperial military on Hoth can help Lord Xin Tao find this crashed ship. Sergeant Loren in the Dorn Base Command Center might be able to offer some information on this crashed ship.

At the Imperial Outpost, Sergeant Loren suggested that an Imperial Reclamation Service team, led by Lieutenant Talos Drellik, may be able to help Lord Xin Tao find the wreckage of the Starrunner. Talos and his team are at an excavation site in Icefall Plains.

Lieutenant Talos Drellik has given Lord Xin Tao a probe droid to help him find the distress beacon jettisoned by the Starrunner in its last moments before impact. The probe droids should help the Sith Lord find a bearing in an attempt to pinpoint the exact location of the distress beacon in the Icefall Plains.

Bitter Rivalries

With the help of Talos Drellik, Lord Xin Tao has located the Starrunner’s distress beacon, along with tracks leading to a nearby Ortolan encampment. The Sith Lord must venture into the encampment nearby in Highmount Ridge and speak with the Ortolan chief.

Sensing Lord Xin Tao on his trail, the apparition of Horak-Mul spoke to him through an Ortolan chieftain. He has agreed to help Lord Xin Tao in exchange for desecration of the temple of assassins that killed Horak-Mul. The Sith Lord, however, will need the help of Talos who is at the Imperial Outpost in Highmount Ridge, to find the Temple.

Into the Assassin Temple

Talos Drellik has joined Lord Xin Tao in his quest to enter the assassin’s temple. Drellik is excited to be able to see the lost ruins and has offered his assistance with any traps that may be encountered. The Sith Lord must escort Talos Drellik to the ancient temple of Naga Sadow’s assassins.

Upon reaching the temple, Lord Xin Tao found that the temple door was locked, and it would require Talos’s expertise to unlock the door. Talos’s attempts to open the door have unleashed a number of ancient droids determined to annihilate any intruders. Lord Xin Tao must fend off the attacking droids while Talos Drellik attempts to open the door.

The ancient droids have been defeated, and Lord Xin Tao can now check with Talos to see if he was successful in opening the door. Talos has discovered a door panel, and Lord Tao once again attempts to open the door.

Lord Xin Tao managed to successfully open the temple door, however, he must destroy the relics in the temple as the ghost of Horak-Mul has requested.

With the temple’s relics left in ruins, Horak-Mul appeared to thank Lord Xin Tao and has given new additional information on his whereabouts. Talos would like to conduct additional research at the nearby Imperial Outpost, so the Sith Lord escorted him to the Frostwake Outpost Command center.

The Fallen Dreadnought

The apparition of Horak-Mul informed Lord Xin Tao that the location of the Starrunner may be found in the belly of the crashed superdreadnought in the graveyard if ships. The Sith Lord made his way to the dreadnought and found the apparition of Horak-Mul, however, Horak-Mul called on Kaleesh warriors to attack Lord Xin Tao. The Sith Lord must defend himself against the fallen Kaleesh warriors in the Starrunner hanger.

Having defeated the warriors, Lord Xin Tao spoke to the apparition of Horak-Mul. The Sith Lord then bound the ghost to himself. With its power bound to him, Lord Xin Tao is now a more capable threat against Darth Thanaton. The Sith Lord returned to his ship and used his starship’s intercom o call a meeting with his companions to discuss his next move.

Conflagration

Lord Xin Tao has scoured the galaxy and bound enough spirits to challenge Darth Thanaton. The best chance he has is to confront Thanaton in his mediation chamber when his defenses are down. The Sith Lord plots a course to Dromund Kaas to confront Darth Thanaton. Upon arriving on Dromund Kaas, Lord Xin Tao taxied to the Sith Sanctum. In Thanaton’s meditation chamber, Lord Xin Tao was set upon by Darth Thanaton and his apprentice Rolan.

Lord Xin Tao’s attempt to defeat Darth Thanaton backfired when he lost control of the power he took from the Force Walking ritual. Now, his body is ravaged, and he can no longer control the ghosts’ in his mind. He must find a cure before Darth Thanaton realizes that he is alive. The Sith Lord decided to regroup with his companions to determine his next course of action.

Chapter Three: Power and Duty

As war rages between the Empire and the Republic, both sides seek out new allies and new weapons to gain an advantage over the enemy. Lord Xin Tao confronts Darth Thanaton a second time, only to have the power of the Force-walking ritual backfire, crippling both mind and body. Lord Xin Tao must find a way past Darth Thanaton’s guards and his secret library to find a cure before Darth Thanaton begins to suspect that his rival is very much alive…

The Price of Power

Lord Xin Tao’s attempt to defeat Darth Thanaton backfired when he lost control of the power he took from the Force-walking Ritual. Now his body is ravaged, and he can no longer control the ghosts in his mind. He must find a cure before Darth Thanaton realizes he is alive. Darth Zash has noticed missing research in her collection that may help Lord Xin Tao. She suggested that Thanaton must be hiding something within his private library in the Sith Sanctum in the Cidatel on Dromund Kaas.

Lord Xin Tao managed to get past Darth Thanaton’s guards and gain access to his library without a fight. He set about searching the writings of Darth Vilus and Darth Iratus in Thanaton’s library. Having located the writings of Darths Vilus and Iratus, Lord Xin Tao heads back to his ship to meet with his companions and discuss his next move.

After placing the writings that he recovered from Darth Thanaton’s library, in the hands of Zash and Ashara to review, Zash encouraged Lord Xin Tao to visit Harkun in the Sith Academy on Korriban and check on the progress of his future apprentice. While Darth Zash and Ashara examine the writings, Lord Xin Tao Lord plots a course for Korriban to speak with Overseer Harkun. After speaking with Harkun on Korriban, Lord Xin Tao learned of information that can cure his ravaged body, on Belsavis. He returned to his ship and to inform his crew

Prison Break

Lord Xin Tao has journeyed to the ancient Rakata prison world of Belsavis in pursuit of the secret to controlling his volatile power.

NOTE: BELSAVIS (Distant Outer Rim)

Officially, Belsavis is a sparsely populated Republic world dominated by arctic plains. Its only notable feature is the rare tropical rifts that break up the expanses of ice, heated by natural geothermal vents and home to a surprising diversity of plant life.

In truth, Belsavis is an ultrasecure prison colony established by the Republic. Until recently, the prison’s existence was top secret, but its discovery by the Empire has resulted in rumors spreading throughtout the galactic underworld. The prison is now in a state of lockdown, both Republic and Imperial militaries have a presence on the scene.

Darth Zash believes that a Nikto gang known as “the Circle” might be able to help Lord Xin Tao. The Sith Lord must find one of the Belsavis guards at Republic Prison Block South in the Minimum Security Section and interrogate him about the Circle’s location.

The prison guard revealed that the Nikto gang is hiding in Vault K-66. Lord Xin Tao located the Circle, in vault K-66. Their leader, Bolan, has asked the Sith Lord to help them plant a communication beacon before the gang will offer any assistance.

The Sith Lord will have to plant galactic relays, at an appropriate location, in the Minimum Security Section, and protect them from any nearby beats. Having completed Bolan’s task, Lord Xin Tao returned to the Nikto hideout, at vault K-66, to speak with the gang leader.

Strange Science

Having spoken with the Nikto slicer, Bolan, Lord Xin Tao learned of the location of a Rakata machine that may help him regain control of his force powers. Bolan gave him a data chip that he can install in Republic droids to get them to open the laboratory where the Rakata machine is kept.

However, the Sith Lord will have to defeat the Republic’s Mechsecurity droids, in the High Security Section’s Primary Research Center, and use the data chip to extra information. The Sith Lord completed his task, without fail. Having gained access to the research lab, he must use the Nikto scanning device, on the Rakata machine.

Ghosts in the Walls

With the Circle’s help, Lord Xin Tao has found the location of a curious Rakata “superhub.” Bolan has hacked into the quarantine zone’s security system, and opened the observation entrance for Lord Xin Tao. The Sith Lord ventured inside to investigate this Rakata superhub.

Once inside, Lord Xin Tao noticed a curious-looking datapad lying about. Upon examining the datapad, he found that Darth Iratus sought some kind of “Mother Machine” to control his powers. Lord Xin Tao surmised that perhaps, the nearby Rakata device, in the Quarantine zone is the Mother Machine. However, after using the Rakata superhub device, Rakata guardian droids stormed in to protect it. The Sith Lord must fend off the droids, at any cost. Wave after wave of Rakata droids attacked the Sith Lord, but he cut them down. With the droids defeated, Lord Xin Tao went back to the Rakata device.

Mother

The Mother machine is a device used to create entire species, and therefore, may be able to help Lord Xin Tao regain control of his powers. However, a hologram representing the machine’s artificial intelligence demanded that the Sith Lord offer his own genetic pattern as payment for a cure.

Out of nowhere a Rakata appeared who introduced himself as Warden Gorshaa. He begrudgingly, revealed the location of the Rakata Mother Machine. Lord Xin Tao must seek out the vault of the Mother Machine in the tomb and use it to attempt reconstruction of his body.

The AI called itself, Ashaa, and it has requested Lord Xin Tao’s help in freeing itself from the Mother Machine. The Sith Lord will have to disable the Rakata Security devices in the vault. The Lord disabled all of the devices and returned to Ashaa to be rebuilt.

Building a Power Base

Lord Xin Toa has been contacted by Moff Pyron, a high-ranking Imperial officer who believes that Darth Thanaton’s way of thinking is harmful to the Empire. He is offering to throw his support behind Lord Xin Ta, provided the Sith Lord supply funding to complete a discontinued superweapons project, called the Silencer.

However, the Sith Lord must acquire a CN-12 Chip, which is believed to be in the possession of a syndicate called the Vale, on Nar Shaddaa. The Sith Lord plotted a course to Nar Shaddaa and met up with the Vale. They turned out to be three cyborgs who wanted control of Lord Tao’s cult on, Nar Shaddaa in exchange for the CN-12 chip. The Sith Lord agreed to this proposition.

After successfully acquiring the CN-12 chip, Lord Xin Tao’s business on Nar Shaddaa is resolved. He must now contact Moff Pyron and notify him of his success.

Visions and Visionaries

Having healed his body on Belsavis, it remains for him to heal his fractured mind by tracking down Darth Vilus’s forbidden ritual on Voss. Lord Xin Tao plots a course to the mysterious planet of Voss.

NOTE: VOSS (Hutt Space)

Voss was first discovered only a few years ago, and the rocky, lightly forested planet remains absent from many star charts. Two distinct cultures inhabit the world, both at a pre-spaceflight stage of development.

The first culture, known as the Gormak, is a xenophobic and violent species that dominates most of the planet surface. The second culture, known as the Voss, has been amenable to contact with outsiders and welcomes visitors to the mountain city of Voss-Ka. The Voss have a highly ritualistic society and are notable for their unusual aptitude with the Force. The Republic and the Empire have sent representatives to Voss-Ka to explore the possibility of an alliance.
