starting lving a gunslinger which spec is the best all rounder? for pve/pvp? which is most fun to play?

For leveling Sharpshooter dominates everything -> sweeping gunfire ftw

End game DF and sab both high much higher sutained dps in pve.

For Regs (pvp) you can used whichever spec you want but should look at different targets depending on the spec (if possible)... Force the love of everything holy, don't forget to use flourish shot

Pve casual - any spec

Pve hardcore - saboteur or dirty fighting

Pvp regs - any spec

Pvp solo ranked - sharpshooter

Pvp team ranked - sharpshooter for hardswitch, dirty fighting for pressure.

My very personal experience - and I'm not an experienced player, despite me playing this game for a few years now - Sharpshooter is not good without any support in PvP.

I really don't like to play my Gunslinger in PvP because of that anymore.

 

With proper support, however, a Gunslinger can be very dangerous.

 

Another thing is - do you prefer ranged or close combat ? Not every style fits to everyone.

nobody can really tell you what spec is "the most fun to play" because that is going to be different for every person. i will tell you to level up in the spec that you want to use at endgame. before that, while leveling, it doesn't matter what spec you run since they all have exactly the same rotation. suppressive fire>suppressive fire>suppressive fire. repeat.
