TheoDorIL Posted April 7, 2018 Share Posted April 7, 2018 hey guys, i made a mistake. i bought the master datacron cartel item (the one that boost you to 70) with a lvl 70 char. i cant move it to my new alt, because its bound. what can i do? i opened a ticket but no one is answering there for a few days. JediKnightGeorge Posted April 8, 2018 Share Posted April 8, 2018 Yep. Whenever you purchase an item directly from the CM, there is a "bind timer". You can't move that item from your personal inventory or cargo hold until that timer runs out. Just make sure you don't use the item on your current character good luck! Here's SWTOR's official description of the process And here's a showing that it should have a bind time. Scroll to 1:45 in the video. If you have a single box that looks like in the video, and don't see that timer at the bottom, and you didn't go through all those steps to unlock it on your present toon (the r-clicking and the warning screens), then all I can guess is you have a glitch. Eoinol Posted April 9, 2018 Share Posted April 9, 2018 I have purchased a few datacrons and the mistake you might be making is not putting your cursor over the item, this will display a tool tip, which shows the timer on the bottom in red.
