Mix-and-match emotes for NPC's

First, I was thinking that all NPC's should have access to all kinds of emotes.

 

Second, I thought about mix-and-match emotes, were the 'base emote' is the emote used from the hips and down; say walking, standing or maybe sitting.

 

The 'upper emote' would be the emotes from the hips and up, including facial emotes. Like expressions by the NPC's like using his/her hands/arms, facial expressions were the NPC might be talking or listening, or nodding off.

 

Third, if we could mix and match emotes, then how about queuing upper emotes and allow them to round-robin, or even use random queuing, so you'll have an NPC that walks around, and listens for a short while. Then starts talking, or maybe using gestures (like 'whatever' or 'okay, okay, I'm onboard'....).

 

It'll allow a very complex scene and will make the Strongholds a lot more alive and not as 'static'.

 

I think it's a mistake to sell Cartel Packs with NPC's tied with certain emotes. Mixing and matching emotes is a lot better way to use NPC's.
