Nach dem der Patch 6.1.4c installiert wurde startet das spiel nicht.

Ich habe schon eine Reparatur durchgeführt ohne erfolg.

Alte Tipps aus Foren haben leider auch nicht funktionier.

Den letzten Einfall den ich habe ist, dass ich das spiel deinstalliere und neu installiere.

Here are two workarounds that should help players on Windows 7 who encounter the C1/C7 error.

1. Workaround 1: disable desktop composition in the compatibility settings
   
2. Workaround 2: Start swtor.exe and launcher.exe as admin w/ compatibility for XP SP3

For those on Windows 7 who still encounter the C1/C7 error message, updating Visual C++ to the latest version should help you: The latest supported Visual C++ downloads.

Was auch wohl einigen geholfen hat wäre

I use windows 7. These solutions didn't work for me. However, in Solution 1, when I tried checking "disable visual themes" instead of checking "disable desktop composition", that seemingly fixed the problem. The game starts now.

Ich habe nochmals nachgehakt und als Möglichkeit bekommen, statt winXP SP3, Windows 7 bei Kompatibilität auszuwählen.

 

Ebenfalls solltest du mal versuchen, die "Desktop Composition" zu deaktivieren oder sämtliche Visual Themes zu deaktivieren.

Grundsätzlich ist der technische Support zu Swtor eher unter https://answers.ea.com/t5/STAR-WARS-The-Old-Republic/bd-p/star-wars-the-old-republic-de (Hilfeforum) zu finden bzw. bei https://help.ea.com/de/ (Kundendienst per E-mail oder Telefon).

Hoffe du bekommst das Spiel mit einem der Tipps zum starten.

Rechtsklick auf das SWTOR Symbol, dort dann auf Eigenschaften gehen,

das Feld "Kompatibilität" auswählen,

und dort einstellen :

Kompatibilitätsmodus für "Windows 7",

"Desktopgestaltung Deaktivieren"

und gegebenenfalls "als Administrator ausführen"

Einstellen.

Hat bei den meisten geholfen.
