But my main point is to ask for a change in how color crystals work.

please allow us to combine colors to make new ones in the future. For example: combine a red and a blue and you get purple. Orange should come from combining red and yellow...etc

You could also make 2nd and 3rd tier colors. Do it within reason obviously.
