Simplest DPS rotation that still packs a punch in endgame?

What do you guys think is the class that has the simplest DPS rotation but is still viable in endgame? Im a healer that wants a dps toon and want to keep it simple so i can focus on fight mechanics not my rotation. But i also dont want to have the worst damage output.

Snipers are NOT an option... too many in my guild right now but all other advanced classes are possible.

Thanks for the advice in advanced.

operative concealment, around 5 attacks, juggernaut vengeance a bit more if i remember, both mercenary trees, and i guess few more

Wat?

How is operative concealment easy? It's one of the more complex rotations out there (obviously not marauder-level, but still). Even if the number of buttons may be low (with which I disagree), you have to deal with tactical advantage juggling. I thought PowerTech Pyro was universally considered the simplest right now?

Vengeance is way easier. Operative Concealment needs to worry about timing of each of its acid blades to not fall behind on energy, as well as positioning and juggling TA stacks, while the act of using Vengeance's rotation practically tells you which attack to use next.

i should mention its for PVE. And i heard Vanguard (also Powertech) is bad on DPS. IS that true?

Pfft, no. They're quite good.

In my personal opinion, Annihilation Marauders are much easier to play than any Operative DPS. Carnage is really the only hard rotation they have (but it is SUPER hard).

Vanguard/Powertech DPS is actually rather good. Assault Specialist/Pyro is the #2 overall best single target DPS in the game after Watchmen/Annihilation Sent/Maras after both received buff in 2.8. Both regularly parse over 4000 in the best gear, and as everyone has said, AS/Pyro for Vanguards and PTs is about the simplest spec to play. Tactic/Adv Prototype is also very easy to play for VG/PT. Vigilance/Vengeance Guardian/Jugg is fairly simple (5-6 ability rotation, very predictable). Telekientic/Lightning Sage/Sorc is a very easy rotation as well in my experience.

In terms of raw power, if you get optimized Dread Masters gear a Vanguard/Powertech in Assault/Pyro has the highest damage potential. However, this is very difficult to do, as you have to choose 2 of 3 things:

1. Reliable Procs

2. 100% DoT uptime

3. Having resources

You can't have all 3. The top parses with Pyro sacrificed the reliable procs, while the sustainable rotation will perform 7-10% worse.

SPECS THAT DONT HAVE ROTATIONAL VARIATION DUE TO RNG ELEMENTS

Sentinels/Marauders - Focus/Rage

Juggernauts/Guardians - All Specs

Vanguards/Powertechs - Tactics/AP

Commandos/Mercs - Gunnery/Arsenal

Sorcs/Sages - All Specs

Sins/Shadows - Balance/Madness

Operatives/Scoundrels - Concealment/Scrapper

Snipers/Gunslingers - Marksman/Sharpshooter

Of these, i'd say either go with a Sorc or Sage with your spec of choice

Lightning/TK is especially simple, its use Thundering Blast/Turbulance on cooldown, follow it with a lightning strike/disturbance, and if just before it affliction or weaken mind isn't on the target, use that. Once that priority is done, you use Crushing Darkness/Mind Crush on cooldown, then the procs for quick Lightning/TK Throw and instant Chain Lightning/TK Wave

However, if you want more power, you can still opt for the sub-par Pyro spec.

Rotationally, you just go:

Flame Burst

Rapid Shots

Flame Burst

Rail Shot

Flame Burst

Filler

Flame Burst

Rail Shot

Filler is Thermal Detonator if available, Incendiary round if not. Replace flame burst with rocket punch if available.

Occasionally take the Thermal Detonator out for resource management purposes.

That's a rotation???? I thought it was just button mashing... :p

Simplest rotation ever will always be Gunnery Commando/Arsenal Mercenary. Tracer Missile/Grav Round -> Heatseeker Missiles/Demolition Round (need to have Heatsignature/Gravity Vortex for maximum damage) --> Use Unload/Full Auto when Barrage/Curtain of Fire procs (100% chance now) --> Rail Shot/High Impact bolt on 5 stacks of Tracer Lock/Charged Barrel. Repeat. That's it. You have to spam Tracer Missile/Grav Round a lot, but it's really simple as you can see.

You only use Rail Shot with 5 stacks IF your more powerful abilities like Unload are on cooldown. But the thing is, you get Unload off cooldown every 8 seconds. There's really no time to spam Tracer Missile.

It's ok to use in opener between second Unload and Heatseeker/Electro Net.

I actually was trying out the most stupidly easy rotation on my sage before:

Spec - 3/7/36 (full crit in seer tree, bonus MC damage in TK tree)

Rotation:

MC -> WM -> FiB -> SF -> Full Channel TK Throw x4

Without using any offensive cooldowns (Mental alacrity, force potency) it did as well as full TK played optimally.

NERF BALANCE!!1!11!!!
