DarthMetier
Being that I am relatively new to end-game content, what is the best way to cc a target? I've got a lv. 50 SW jugg with a mixture of custom, rakata, columi, tionese and BH gear. When I go on a FP and get asked to cc, I typically just jump right at the target and engage, is this what is meant by cc?
Codek
Sorry to disappoint you but you don't really have any form of a CC as a jugg. CC = Crowd Control, basically removes a mob from the fight via a 1 minute stun of immobilized ability. Abilities that are used for CC are obvious in the sense that they will often heal the target while it is stunned, will break upon a damage spell, and keeps the target locked for 60 seconds. Karasuko
Ok, thanks, didn't really understand but you clarified for me. Appreciate it. actually you ahve a few ways too CC, theyre just not traditional is all. You have an aoe mez (breaks on damage) You also have an aoe stun for weak mobs only. Eternalnight
actually you ahve a few ways too CC, theyre just not traditional is all. Those are short (2-4 second) stuns. While technically they could still be called cc by some broader definitions, they are not what people mean when the ask for when they ask for a cc to be used. Eternalnight
When I go on a FP and get asked to cc They are not asking you (unless they are completely clueless as to what each class can or can't do). They are the other group members to do it. I typically just jump right at the target and engage Oh my gods! Why? You know starting the fight when you don't know what needs to be done (and this could be about any other thing you don't know about as well) is probably the worst thing one could do.
