Penetrating Blasts Animation Revert BACK to Series of Shots Animation [devs plz read]

Because its still broke and has been ever since they changed the animation for no good reason. its been 3+ years. devs fix this crap already revert it back to series of shots animation it was working perfectly fine back then until you changed the animation.

the issue: series of shots fires 4 rounds, successfully, 100% of the time, for virulence and engineering spec.
BUT! Marksmanship: penetrating blasts fires 4 rounds (suppose to be 5 rounds) something like 70% of the time but after a sniper volley ability will usually fire the designed 5 rounds.. but its buggy at best and this is very frequent in pvp.

If you revert the animation back to series of shots for marksmanship you will fix the problem you created years ago. a broken animation that doesnt work right or even aim properly when people move to your side or back if you are facing forward. its a crappy animation and any marksmanship sniper that pvps knows the penetrating blasts animation is CRAP and broken. the series of shots animation it had for a short time when the 5 round improvement was implemented was FAR SUPERIOR than the new animation penetrating blasts has now for marksmanship sniper, AND WOULDNT BUG OUT and FIRE 4 rounds over 5 70+% of the time!

tldr:

devs revert penetrating blasts animation back to series of shots animation to fix a terrible bug.

Is it a DPS loss? Or just an animation thing. If it's a loss then that's super serious, if not then it's annoying but w/e.

Both, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Devs need to just fix this already since its been busted for years and ppl would try and troll it to keep it broken forever.

It's never a DPS loss. There is no parse that is missing shots from Penetrating Blasts. If you don't get the last tick of damage, you are interrupting the cast with something.

Uh... wrong. Penetrating Rounds works as advertised in PVP or PVE.

No it doesn't! The videos are proof! it sporadically fires 4 - 5 rounds instead of 100% 5 rounds every time! It has been bugged like this for years now. The developers of the game need to fix this ridiculously cheesy bug they introduced into the game ever since they changed the animation for penetrating blasts from series of shots back in 2014.

Please people don't spam my thread saying it's working as intended when the videos are proof it is not. This thread is SOLEY for the developers to see this bug needs to be fixed for snipers as it is not present on gunslinger.

There are far more constructive things for you guys to be doing then coming in this thread saying it's working when I just got out of a game of huttball and the Penetrating Blasts rounds still sporadically fire 4 - 5 rounds instead of the intended 5 rounds 10/10 times.

Its an Visual Bug. I have checked a couple of parses and did an 22 Minute-Parse just to be sure, but there´s no hit missing.
Although it looked like sometimes the first two hits came at the same time.
