Things we all know are broken about crafting that they still haven't fixed

1. Still can't dispatch more than one of the same consumable crafting missions. And it still fails silently and destroys the mission item, with no warning, and without granting the mission.

2. Mission dispatcher still loaded with useless stuff like gift and luxury fabric assignments, and still lacking in needed missions like metals. Wildly unbalanced yield rates vs. need for certain mats like Laminoid vs. Silica.

3. Stupidly low drop rate on orange bracer and belt patterns from the mission skills like UT; orders of magnitude below the drop rate for the other pieces.

4. Orange sets still have mismatched pieces, with different parts of the "same" set coming in at random levels and augment tiers.

5. Crafting still useless at endgame, other than for a few stims and a handful of BOP Rakata pieces. Some skills like Armstech are barely useful even for lower level gear.

First is a bug, the rest are working as intended, we get it you don't like it.

2. Some people run gift stuff, me included sometimes and fabric isn't useless if you are a synthweaver.

3. They aren't supposed to be common.

4. So if you want that look then level your character

5. Tell that to the cybertec/artificers that have the latest schematics from running Ops. Armstech, oh yes the only reliable place to get techblades/vibroswords whilst levelling.

You're complaining that it's broken because it takes time to get certain items, would you rather have blue/purple recipies as rare drops out in the world or tied to a reputation grinds that take months, as they are in other games?

MMO's have time sinks either grind for the pattern or for credits and buy it.

#1 is an intended mechanic, although the second part of your point is valid.

Actually it's not, at least according to the "patch notes." It used to work fine. Then there was a patch about six months ago that "fixed" it. The patch notes said multiple dispatch was enabled, but in fact the patch broke it. Before the "fix" it worked fine. After the patch it didn't work, but gave an error when you tried to learn a second one. A couple patches later it became a silent failure instead of a warning. Still doesn't work as advertised (i.e., how it did before the "fix").

#2 a good work-around for this issue is simply this.

Step 1: Send companions on whatever UM missions you have ready.

Step 2: Load the rest with gift missions. This makes room on the list.

Step 3: Change instances. Simplest way to do this is using the shuttle to hop between daily zones.

Step 4: Check your mission list again. There should be a UM mission available now. Drop a gift mission and take that one.

Step 5: Repeat steps 3 & 4.

Actually I remember it being a 100% fail rate for a second try pre-"Fix"

I was under the impression armstechs who happen to be raiders can make end-game barrles if they re 'em?

Armorers (of all types) are the ones who totally get the shaft. Rakata is pointless.

this is wildly incorrect

1. pretty much right

2 wrong, fabrics are used for synthweaving

3. orange belt and bracer are SUPOSED to be rare drops.

4. have never seen a mixmatched set other than pieces varying between 1-3 lvls

5. and this is your biggest mistake. this is possibly the dumbest thing ive seen on the forums all day. crafting endgame modifications is the single most lucrative aspect of the game economically. people charge 500k for 30 minuites of one of their companions time. you either havent played the game in a while or are just blind
