GSF is pretty fun but this part really urks me. You are nailing somebody have him/her almost dead, annnnnnd they fly into something killing themselves taking away the kill. Annoying as hell, if we could get a fix where if you did enough damage you could at least credit for the kill that would be nice.

Structures are not living beings that support you.

You get damage credit and an assist, and they get a delay before respawn which (I think) increases every time it happens. Since assists and kills give you the same reward level, you don't really lose out on anything other than the counter.

 

So yes, it's annoying, but not really a big deal from the reward side.

This happens most often when you try to use your evasive maneuver. Push the button, fly into something solid at a very high rate of speed. Poof. LOL

It's annoying when a turret gets a kill shot on your target as well. Right now, assists and kills seem to give the same reward, so no big loss other than shiny stats at the end of the battle. It does make getting kill achievements really hard when the other team's pilots didn't seem to pass basic flight.

 

They need to change the message to something more entertaining though.
