Since i mostly tank, my other characters usually have arkanian set pieces with the best gear you can get with ultimate coms, obviously these numbers are easily beaten with any kind of dread forged or underworld set pieces - still, I think for the gear, the numbers are not that bad

I know Karasomething...err, Rake, from Imperial Guard, ran it sometimes in PvP. He thought it was good. It's not. No idea about in PvE. Seems like it could really do work on boss fights with lots of adds and trash. Then again, hard to build Shockwave stacks with no Force Crush. You go for Deadly Saber in Annihilation and then grab whatever you can in Rage.

 

Though I notice Fujin grabs Cascading Power in Rage. And I wonder if it'd parse higher if he went up to Close Quarters in Annihilation instead. 10% damage increase after Leap is going to occur more frequently than 3% damage increase after Smash. 17/2/27?

i parsed in annihilation the other day and my parse was almost 100 dps less. ima go look for the log and post the link. 3 stacks of shockwave come after every beserk i think so getting shockwave isnt an issue. way too easy to build rage in this spec. its hella fun tho

Yeah I think you're right. Got curious and looked on TORParse and all the mara/sent top parses are Dotsmash, including Sound from Shattered Republic.

The 10% damage increase after a leap is a PvP set bonus, so for PvE the damage increase does not occur. More leaps is only good for better rage generation, which would make Cascading Power a better talent than Close Quarters because the 9% damage increase will be better than the 3 rage.
