[Guide] Complete Updated Datacrons Guide

Recommended Posts

So far I've documented every single Datacron for Republic and even some Imperial datacrons, although the Imperial ones could use more details. I'll be able to post the entire guide on the forums here, but I'll have to do it one post as a time so please resist from posting until I get all the planets in!

Also this guide, since it is going to be posted on these forums can only be text... However I do have many pictures and soon to be videos to support my Datacron guides, but those screen shots are on my website which is here:

http://almarsguides.com/swtor/datacron/

I recommend using this guide here for all the easy Datacrons and then the more complex ones that you need pictures for, you'll want to visit my site. Anyway, let's start off with Alderaan!

Alderaan Datacrons

Aim +4 Datacron

Coordinates: X 1106 , Y 173

This Datacron is located in The Juran Mountains on Alderaan. The Juran Mountains are around central Alderaan so whatever Flightpath you have that takes you right around the center of the map is the one you'll want to take. Depending on your faction there is a bit of running required to get to the start point but hey, who really cares?!

This is a rather easy Datacron to get to; the hardest part of reaching this Datacron is finding the path that leads to the Damaged Lift which you need to take down to the little island that the Datacron is on. The path is across the bridge at the very start of the "Organa Medical Camp". It can be found at the Coordinates 1161 , 230 or you can just look at (Screenshots 1 & 2). Follow the snowy path down to the Damaged Lift which you will need to wait for... I hate waiting.

Once it arrives you need to jump ontop of it, carefully, and then slowly ride it down to the small island that the Datacron is on below. If you're having trouble making the jump wait until it starts down the wire towards the island and jump onto it diagonally. Once you're over top the island jump off the lift and collect the Datacron reward!

Presence +3 Datacron

Coordinates (Of the Thranta): - 406 , 111

This is another extremely easy Datacron to get. In fact all it really requires you to do is ride a Thranta (the big white thing) up to the Datacron. The Thranta that you need to ride can be found around - 406 , 111 (Screenshots 1 & 2). Once you right click the Thranta it will fly you up to the Datacron's location (Screenshots 3 & 4). Once up here grab the Datacron, as simple as that.

Willpower +3 Datacron

This Datacron is located in Castle Panteer which is located in far western Glarus Valley. If you're having trouble finding it, it is where the final quest of Alderaan takes place. In Castle Panteer there is a small little gap between the door and a wall which you can sneak through to reach the Willpower Datacron (Screenshots 1 & 2). Once you make it through the gap head up the stairs and follow the northern path around the room you come out into. The reason you want to do this is because there is a fallen pillar which blocks off the southern route.

Strength +4 Datacron

Coordinates: 2188 , 379

There are two ways for players to reach this Datacron, the first is by buying an item from a vendor for 10,000 credits and the second does not require this item but requires a bit of jumping. This guide is going to cover the second option because it will save you the credits and because if you use the item... You don't even really need a guide. I will however show you where this vendor is located just incase you'd rather take that option. Note that if you do go to this vendor to buy the MGGS also buy the Red Detonite Actuator from him, it is required for another Datacron on Alderaan.

Check (Screenshots 1 & 2) for the location of this vendor. If you're too lazy to look at the screenshots than the Coordinates for this vendor are 1867 , 204. Whether or not you buy the item let's continue now to the Datacron. This Datacron is located at the Lerantha Dam in the Kaamos Territory which is in far northern Alderaan. To reach Kaamos Territory you need to travel north through the Juran Mountains. Once you reach Kaamos Territory you will need to go far northeast through it until you come across the Lerantha Dam (Screenshots 3 & 4)

If you have the MGGS then all you need to do is right click the Magnetic Stabilizer above the Datacron. Your MGGS will pull you over to the ledge and you can jump to drop down to the Datacron. E Z as 1 2 3. Jumping is too, all you need to do is run across the rocks a bit off to the side of the Datacron (Screenshot 5) and jump down to the little metal ledge below the Datacron (Screenshot 6). From here jump up the ladder until you reach the platform with the Datacron and then... *Drum roll* collect it!

Endurance +3 Datacron

IMPORTANT: In order to retrieve this Datacron you will need to buy the item, Red Detonite Actuator from Lain-Ricie who can be found in southern Juran Mountains. A screenshot is below of this NPC.

Coordinates: X 2722 , Y 242

This Datacron is located in southern Alderaan in King's Pass. As I mentioned before this paragraph you will need an item called a Red Detonite Actuator from Lain-Ricie who can be found in southern Juran Mountains. For an exact location of this NPC refer to (Screenshots 1 & 2). Once you have the Red Detonite Actuator travel far south in King's Pass until you come to a cave entrance (Screenshots 3 & 4). Be warned that this cave is filled with elites, it is going to be a challenge and maybe even impossible if you're not at least level 50.

Once you're in the cave go directly east until you come out to where I am on the map in (Screenshot 5). Here you will need to kill the two Killik mobs (or not...) and then arm the bomb via the Blast Pack on the rocks (Screenshot 6). Once you blast open the wall run through into the room and grab your reward!

Balmorra (Empire) Datacrons

- Very Incomplete, need updated info on all of these.

Strength +2

Coordinates: X: 726, Y: 171

There is a hidden path that leads to this datacron

Aim +2

Coordinates: X: -1017, Y: 1514

Very difficult datacron to explain how to retrieve. Will make a indepth guide soon for this one. But for now, just know it is inside the heroic area ontop of a pipe.

Willpower +2

Coordinates: X: 191, Y: -346

In order to retrieve this datacron you need to buy an item from a vendor to open the chest it is contained in. This datacron is available to both The Empire and The Republic although it has different stats on either faction.

Cunning +2

Coordinates: X: 1853, Y: 111

This datacron is located in the Balmorran Arms Factory.

Datacron - Green Matrix Shard

Coordinates: X: -505, Y: 1990

This datacron requires two people to get as they both need to simultaneously activate a switch.

Balmorra (Republic) Datacrons

Datacron - Aim +4

Coordinates: X 192 , Y 4

This is by far the easiest Datacron for Republic players to find on Balmorra. Really all that you need to do for this Datacron is buy a key from a vendor for 5k Credits then open the Datacron chest. Anyway let's get started. The intro area that you land at on Balmorra (Bugtown) is actually where this Datacron is located. To start, far in the southeastern end you will find a vendor named Ba'teil (Screenshot 1 & 2). From her you will want to purchase the Lost Code Cylinder for 5k Credits.

Once you have the Cylinder you need to make it back to land. I've found the best way is to run north around the mountains and circle back around. This way puts you pretty much near the Datacron anyhow. With the Cylinder in hand you will want to go to the Space Chest in central Bugtown (Screenshots 3 & 4). Using the key on the chest will open it up and reveal the Datacron for you.

Datacron - Cunning +2

Coordinates: X - 1018 , Y 22

This Datacron is located inside the Okara Droid Factory in central Balmorra. If you forget where this factory is located refer to (Screenshots 1 & 2). Once inside you will be going to the western most elevator titled "Assembly Line". Take the elevator down and follow the hallways until you reach the giant room in the northeastern most end of the map. This is the Assembly Room, go figure. In here you will want to jump down to the floor below and make your way over to a super secret entrance in a column (Screenshots 3 & 4).

Inside this little room you need to drop down to the different pipes until you can see the Datacron. Once you can see the Datacron you need to fall down to the pipe that it is on (Screenshot 5).

Datacron - Presence +2

Coordinates: X 729 , Y 173

This Datacron is located in Gorinth Canyon of Balmorra. To get here you will first need to go to Sundari Outpost and travel a bit south (go across the bridge into Gorinth Canyon) and make your way over to the hidden path that leads to this Datacron (Screenshots 1 & 2). This Datacron is so easy it isn't even funny... The only thing that could even pose a problem is the level 34 Champion nearby but if you're high enough level you can run right by him with 0 difficulty.

Datacron - Endurance +3

This Datacron is located in western Bugtown at the Colicoid Queen's Nest (Screenshots 1 & 2). Or, the coordinates are -163 , 6. Once you're here take the elevator down into the Colicoid Queen's Nest and make your way to the Queen's chamber. It is straight ahead from when you come down the elevator, in fact you can even see the Datacron the second you reach the ground floor. The secret passage to reach the Datacron can be found in the southern end of the Queen's chamber (Screenshots 3 & 4).

The secret passage way is filled with elite Colicoids to kill so be careful if you're lower level. At the very end you will see your Datacron reward sitting atop a fallen down pipe.

Datacron - Willpower +4

Coordinates: X -778 , Y 107

To reach this Datacron you first will need to fly to Lower Markaran Outpost in Balmorra. From here you will be following the road south through the Markaran Plains and across the bridge to Gorinth Canyon. Once in Gorinth Canyon you will notice an extremely large AA gun as well as a pipe that runs across the gorge (Screenshots 1 & 2). From here you will want to... You guessed it, go across the pipe to the large mountain-like thing and make your way across the hidden path.

At the end of the hidden path you will see the Datacron down below sitting harmlessly on a ledge (Screenshot 3). From here it is a simple task of just jumping down to the Datacron. Be careful though, if you miss a jump you will need to fly back to Lower Markaran Outpost and start this little trip all over again.

Belsavis Datacrons

Endurance +4 Datacron

This is one of the easiest Datacrons to reach on Belsavis, the only problem is it is guarded by some difficult mobs to kill so if you aren't at least level 50 you will want to bring a friend. To get to this Datacron you will need to go to the far northern section of the High Secruity Section (Screenshots 1 & 2).

There is a small path down that leads to a cave which is where you will find the Datacron. Now as I mentioned before getting to this Datacron is difficult, it is guarded by a level 41 champion and other elites inside the cave.

At level 50 I was able to solo all of the mobs in the cave including the level 41 Champion without dropping below 90% health, so unless you're really really bad this Datacron will be cake to get.

Willpower +4 Datacron

This Datacron is located in the High Secruity Section of Belsavis. To reach this Datacron you will need to follow a path that starts around X -841 , Y -791 (Screenshot 1 & 2). Once you find the path it's a simple just follow it until you reach the Datacron. Nothing tricky about it. The Coordinates for the Datacron are X -502 , Y 767.

Presence +4 Datacron

Coordinates X - 1913 Y - 476

This Datacron is located in the Maximum Security Section of Belsavis. To reach this Datacron you will need to go through a small cave in the northern area of the Maximum Security Section of Belsavis (Screenshots 1 & 2). The cave is pretty easy to find and is a very short run from the Ops Center for the Republic. Once you're through the cave follow the rocks around northeast, you'll see the Datacron shortly in the distance, it's very easy to get to just use (Screenshot 3) as a guide of where to go.

Aim +4 Datacron

Coordinates X - 1913 Y - 476

This Datacron is located in the western section of The Tomb area of Belsavis. To reach this Datacron you must first jump ontop of a few rocks nearby located around -710 , -1943 (Screenshots 1 & 2). It's a very difficult jump to make, luckily it is the most difficult jump and it is the very first one. What you need to do is jump up onto the rock right in front of you in (Screenshot 1), you will want to keep trying this jump until you are where I am in (Screenshot 3).

From here run around the southern end of the lava pool following the rocks. The next jump is on the eastern most end of the lava pool, you have to jump over the vantage point of this Datacron (Screenshot 4). After you make this jump follow the southern rock ledge around until you reach a raised rock which seems like you wouldn't be able to jump onto (Screenshot 5). Getting onto this ledge is a bit tricky and I fell once trying to get up there so be careful! What you need to do is jump onto the side of the ledge, where I am looking in (Screenshot 6). And where I am standing in (Screenshot 7).

From here you will see a little lip of a rock coming out of this ledge which you can jump up onto to make it up onto the top of this rock ledge. Once you make it atop the rock ledge it's smooth sailing from there. You will want to head over to where I am in (Screenshot 8) and then from there you can jump down to where the Datacron is. You will want to try to land where I am in (Screenshot 9).

Green Matrix Shard Datacron

Coordinates X -310 , Y -2170

This Datacron is located in the center of The Tomb area in a cave located under a tree. In the center of The Tomb area you will see a large tree with a passageway leading underneath it to the Datacron. To retrieve this Datacron players will need to collect 4 Rakata Energy Cubes from around Belsavis. It can be done solo, just you will need to collect all four of the cubes yourself. If you have more people with you only one of you needs to unlock the Datacron allowing everyone to retrieve it.

The Rakata Energy Cubes spawn in all different areas around Belsavis, depending how many people are collecting them you may not even have to leave "The Tomb" area to find them all.

<Will update with locations of these cubes soon>

Corellia Datacrons

Aim +4 Datacron

This Datacron is located the southeastern portion of the Government District. The small metal beam you need to climb up ontop of is at 3118 , -1843 (Screenshots 1 & 2). From this steel beam you need to jump to a slender iron beam that slowly moves up and down the large rock pillar directly in front of you (Screenshot 3). At the top of this iron beam run off of it onto the large stone column. You'll be able to see the Datacron in the distance now, but how do we get there?!?!?!

Position yourself between the bomb at the top of this column and the Datacron in the distance, like I am in (Screenshot 4). Right click the bomb and BOOM you will be airborn and flying to the Datacron. You will faceplant the ground like I am in (Screenshot 5), just jump to get up and then grab the Datacron.

Blue Matrix Shard Datacron

This Datacron is located in far southeastern Labor Valley through a Holographic Door. You will want to head over to where I am on the map in (Screenshots 1 & 2), here you will see a faded Holographic door which you can run right through. Once you're through the door either kill the droids in the hallway or just run by them all, you can leash them by the time you reach the Datacron so it isn't a requirement to kill them at all. Follow the hallway to the end and you will come out to a large square room where you will find the Datacron harmlessly sitting atop a crate.

Cunning +4 Datacron

To retrieve this Datacron you will want to go all the way northeast in Labor Valley to the Advanced Product Research Sector (Screenshots 1 & 2). Directly in front of me in (Screenshot 2) is the steel beam that you can jump from to the awning of a building. You will want to do this and follow that awning all the way south over top the roadway (few jumps here) and across the other awning to the south. This awning will wrap around the building until you come across some gray flex (Screenshot 3). (You may think it's a pipe, it kind of is, it's like a scrunchy pipe used in HVAC)

You will need to jump to this gray flex and follow it until you get to where I am in (Screenshot 4), it's only a few feet ahead. From here you will want to jump to the metal plate, which is closer or the shuttle thing if you're awesome and you think you can make it (I did the shuttle thing, cause I'm awesome). Follow this shuttle thing up a bit until you get 3/4 of the way up it. Off the left hand side you will see a large platform which is actually a covered road, you will need to jump down to this. Make sure you're mounted and jump down to this road.

Once you're here turn around and go back to the western most end of this broken road, right where I am in (Screenshot 5) and slowly back up down to the metal pipe with a blue "X" on it in the picture. After you fall down onto that pipe, jump into the broken road and run north to grab your Datacron prize.

Green Matrix Shard Datacron

<Working on>

Presence +4 Datacron

This Datacron is located in the Government District of Corellia far in the northeastern section in the Republic Encampment of Port Pevaria (Screenshot 1). For Imperials getting this Datacron kinda sucks but for Republic it's easy as pie. What you need to do is enter Port Pevaria and head far northeast to where the zone ends and there is nothing but water below (Screenshot 2). Here you will see a set of brown pipes just off the edge of the catwalk that you need to jump down to (Screenshot 3).

Be careful not to hit your head when jumping to these pipes. If you want, it's actually easier to kinda squeeze under the platform above when you're standing on the railing and just drop down to the pipes. I fell a few times before figuring this out. Once you make it to the pipes head south underneath the catwalk. Helpful Tip: You can hug the wall without falling between the pipes and the wall.

Follow the pipes south until you reach where I am in (Screenshots 4 & 5). The Datacron is just ahead sitting on an invisible platform. From these Screenshots you will want to fall down onto the metal pipe I am looking at in (Screenshot 4) and run over to the Datacron. You can fall down right next to the Datacron here onto the invisible platform. To get out from here you'll need to either kill yourself or type /stuck.

Strength +4 Datacron

This Datacron is located in Labor Valley at the Central Workforce Habitation area (Screenshot 1). Where I am standing in (Screenshot 1) is exactly where you will want to go to start the hunt for this Datacron. Directly in front of me there is a pipe which you will need to run up to start the hunt required to reach this Datacron (Screenshot 2). At the top of the pipe you will need to make your way onto the cloth overhang. From here you will need to wait for the Imperial Shuttle that swings by the canvas you're standing on (Screenshot 3).

Jump onto the shuttle when it gets close and ride it a bit east until you can jump onto a nearby platform with missles stacked up on it (Screenshot 4). Once you're onto the platform head over to the eastern end of it and look down. You'll be able to see a crate just below that you can jump to (Screenshot 5). This crate is in a fenced in area so double check to make sure you're jumping to the right one. After jumping onto the crate directly in front of you will be a steelbeam leaning against another crate, run up it and jump from the single steel beam up top to the double stack of steel beams and then again to the next crate.

Once you're over here you will want to wait for the small lift to raise itself up to you (Screenshot 6). Hop onboard and jump up to the crate ontop of the crate you were just on.

Note: You can use the small lift in (Screenshot 6) or the steel beam I am on in (Screenshot 7) to reach this Datacron, I used the small lift because I didn't feel like waiting for the steel beam.

From atop the crate in (Screenshot 8) you will want to jump across to the metal platform directly in front of me. After making it up to the platform you will want to run south, up the metal beam and to the Strength Datacron. It's extremely straight forward once you make it to the metal platform.

(Republic) Willpower +4 Datacron

For this Datacron you will need to go to the Blastfield Shipyards in southern Corellia. Once you're here make your way down south to where I am in (Screenshots 1 & 2). The ledge directly in front of me in (Screenshot 2) is the ledge you'll have to follow around the side of this building towards the Datacron. Careful not to fall because down below is an Imperial base! While following this ledge you will need to jump over these steel beam things (Screenshot 3). The first two you will want to jump over but the third one you will want to run up.

At the top of this beam you will see another beam running horizontally (Screenshot 4). Jump from the one you're on to this one and follow it west. Make a right at the end of this beam when you're required to and follow it down to the end. The large brown pipe that is next to the ledge you're on is the next thing you are required to jump to. See (Screenshot 5) on how to get up it, it's pretty self explanatory from that visual. Once you're atop this brown pipe thing turn around and jump up onto the steel platform (Screenshot 6).

Once you're on the platform you will want to jump up ontop of the black Imperial Crates and then onto the big gray Imperial Crate (Screenshot 7). From this crate you will want to jump atop the wing of the fighter and then up onto the fighter itself (Screenshot 8). From this fighter you will see a large crate to the west, you will need to jump across to this crate (Screenshot 9). From this crate jump across to another one of those brown pipe things and continue west. At the end of this brown pipe there will be a large column with a platform circling it. Jump up onto this platform and follow it around to the southwest.

In the southwest corner of this platform you will see a set of small black pipes (Screenshot 10).

Jump to these. Don't be afraid to over shoot them, I did and landed on a bigger pipe below which I could easily navigate back up. From these pipes you will want to jump to the solid ledge to the west. Once you make it to the ledge continue west, you can see the Datacron in the distance now. It's actually really easy to get to it from here as all of the jumping is over (except for the last jump) and the path is pretty basic that you got to follow.

Just continue west jumping over stuff and onto stuff until you find a roof below you. Jump down to it, run along it continuing west and up the steel beam at the end. From that beam hop onto the other that runs North/South, follow that north towards the Datacron and then you have the final jump which you have to take on an angle (Screenshot 11).

Coruscant Datacrons

Presence +2 Datacron

Coordinates: X 2319, Y 472

This is by far the easiest Datacron for players to find on Coruscant. It is located right off the very first quest hub you come out to while leveling through Coruscant and it is in such an obvious place that you practically trip over it while questing. Since there is no real difficulty in finding this Datacron there is no real reason for a guide. Congrats on the easiest Datacron in the game!

Yellow Matrix Shard Datacron

Coordinates: X 949, Y -2262

Jump up onto the boxes and then the pipe nearby (Screenshots 1 & 2) . Run up the pipe and jump to the other pipe right in front of you once you reach the top. After you make the jump follow this pipe down (be careful of the drop) until you reach the intersection. At the intersection you will need to jump to the southern pipe (Screenshot 3) and follow that further down, around the corner and to the next jump (Screenshot 4). This jump is a big one so watch out, it's easy to fall here and if you do you're going to have to start allllll over again.

Once you make it to the other pipe follow it up until you reach a pipe right on top of the pipe you're on (Screenshot 5). This is the hardest jump in my opinion, try to stick yourself against the wall and jump/run up the pipe in front of you. But be very careful, one mistake and you have to start over! At the top of this pipe is a little hop to the pipe below (Screenshot 6). This jump is a bit difficult too but only because your camera angle will be wonky up here.

TIP: Don't Run off, I tried that my first time around and my foot caught something on the pipe and I fell. I was mad.

Follow this small pipe up until you reach a large platform (Screenshot 7). From here you will be able to see the Datacron! Homestretch! Alright, now is a really annoying jump, mainly because it's the last one. Take a look at where I am in Screenshot 8 to line yourself up perfectly with this jump and then hold your breath and SPACEBAR! After you make it across the final pipe give yourself a pat on the back. You deserve it!

Strength +2 Datacron

Coordinates: X -3087 , Y 538

The Strength +2 Datacron is located in the Jedi Temple area of Coruscant. Compared to the other Datacrons this one is fairly easy to get to, it just takes a bit of patience and coordination as do the others. First you will need to find the Jedi Temple, once there you'll want to head over to a large fallen pillar which you need to climb (Screenshots 1 & 2). Once up the pillar you'll want to run around the broken rubble heading westward. If you take a look around up top you can see the Datacron already (Screenshot 3).

After you run around the broken rubble you'll end up right near the Datacron. All that's left is a small fall onto the pillar which holds the Datacron (Screenshot 4) and then a quick walk to the Datacron (Screenshot 5). That's all there is to it!

Endurance +2 Datacron

Coordinates: X -3625 , Y -1293

Much like the Yellow Matrix Shard, this Datacron requires a lot of jumping from object to object to reach. To get started head to the Black Sun Territory at around the middle of the zone (Screenshots 1 & 2 to find it). The first thing you will want to jump on top of are the barrels back in the corner. Then from the barrels to the crate onto more barrels and then onto the side of the dumpster. From here you will want to jump across the small gap to the crate (Screenshot 3). Also, so you have a good idea of where you're going you can take a look to your east and see the Datacron in the distance (Screenshot 4).

Back to jumping, once you make it across to the crate follow more barrels up, onto the dumpster and then another crate, more barrels and then a large metal thingy (Screenshot 5). From up here you'll want to traverse the small little pipe and hop up onto the large platform that goes towards the Datacron. Towards the end of this platform you'll see three broken pipes, only one is within jumping distance so obviously that's the one you'll want to be jumping too! (Screenshot 6). Once you land on that pipe follow it down to the large platform and jump up there.

Travel a bit down the large platform to the second pipe that was out of reach before, now this time you can easily jump right on down to it, which you will want to do. (Screenshot 7) Once you land on this pipe follow it across to the other platform on the otherside (I know, I know, lots of running back and forth). Once you make it to that platform you will have the most difficult jump so far ahead of you. What you need to do here is jump onto the billboard. Sounds easy but the cache is that there is a few feet missing on the top of the billboard so you need to make it over that onto the slim board (Screenshot 8).

Once you make it to and across the board though you're home free because the Datacron is right there!

Cunning +2 Datacron

Coordinates: X 1022, -1036

To reach this Datacron you will first need to go to the Justicar Territory on Coruscant. From here you'll want to run almost directly west to about the middle of northern Coruscant, coords are 1034, -1061 (Screenshots 1 & 2). Once you're here you'll want to scale the boxes directly in front of you up until you reach a pipe on your left (Screenshot 3). The jump right before where I am standing in Screenshot 3 was a difficult one. The only way I managed to do it without much trouble was to not stop running once I got on top the crate, jump to the box and then a running jump to the other crate.

Make your way up both of the crates here and onto the small pipe that travels along the wall (Screenshot 4). Now it's the hard part of this Datacron. This is the first Datacron I actually missed a jump on, I missed the last pipe a few times but once I made it, it was pretty much home stretch. You'll see three pipes in a row, you'll need to jump to each one in order until you make it on top of the one running over the hallway below. (Screenshot 5). Once you make it onto this pipe you'll want to follow it down to the very large pipe at the end (Screenshot 6).

Once you're on the large pipe you can get a good look at the Datacron across the way! (Screenshot 7). From here on out you really don't have to jump, from the big pipe to the other little pipe below you can simply just walk onto it. Once you're on the small pipe run across it to the ledge that the Datacron is on. Jump up then jump up onto the crate with the Datacron (Screenshot 8) and bam, you're all done!

Hoth Datacrons

Cunning +4 Datacron

Coordinates: X 552 , Y 549

To retrieve this Datacron you will first need to go to The Star of Coruscant in the southeastern section of the Starship Graveyard (Screenshots 1 & 2). Go inside the Star of Coruscant and make your way to the elevator that takes you up to the second floor. Just follow the ship's halls, you'll see the elevator in no time. Take the elevator up and make your way over to the southern end of the room (Screenshots 3 & 4). Here you will need to jump onto the crate right in front of me and then onto the larger crate to the right.

From the top of this crate you will want to jump onto the little fork lift right in front of you (Screenshot 5). From here the next few jumps are obvious. From the fork lift to the crate, atop the crate on this crate over to the other crate then from that crate onto the crate ontop of it so you can make it to the crate above that crate ontop the previous crate (DID I CONFUSE YOU? IT WAS MY INTENTION!!) Look where I am in (Screenshot 6) that's where you will want to be now, it's pretty obvious how to get here.

From this crate you will want to continue west to the little ledge I am looking at in (Screenshot 7). Follow this ledge around to the crate to the north and jump down to it. Once you're here wait for the crate that moves across the room to come to you (Screenshot 8). Ride the crate all the way across the room and jump to the crate to the north that it takes you to (Screenshot 9). Once you're here you will want to climb up as high as you can and wait for the next moving crate (Screenshot 10). Jump onboard and ride it all the way until you come to the final moving crate. Make this last jump and than there is only one more jump before the Datacron (Screenshot 11).

Endurance +4 Datacron

This Datacron is located in The Starship Graveyard of Hoth. The area it is located in at The Starship Graveyard is extremely far north in the heroic area, (Screenshots 1 & 2) show you where you need to go. The blocks of ice that I am staring straight at in (Screenshot 2) are the ledges that you will want to start climbing up towards this Datacron. The path up is pretty easy to follow, once you reach snow again you'll want to turn from going south to heading east. To see what I mean, kinda, look at where I am in (Screenshot 3) and where I am facing.

Follow this icy ledge around east until you end up at about where I am in (Screenshot 4). Here you will want to jump down from the ice onto the snowy surface below and follow that further east over the path we came in on. You will want to drop down from the snowy surface to the icy one at about where I am in (Screenshot 5). Heal up and head across the arch before having to drop down again at where I am in (Screenshot 6). Follow the ship's ledge around until you reach the next drop in (Screenshot 7). Aim for the blue circle in this Screenshot.

Follow the ice south until you come to the next jump (Screenshot 8). Follow the ship's ledge around until you reach where I am on the map in (Screenshot 9). Now this is the most important part that I messed up for an entire hour on because there wasn't a single well written guide on it on the entire internet. WELL NOW THERE IS! In the direction I am facing and where I am you will want to start making your way back north but going UP this time. You'll know what I mean when you see it and you should thank me for saving you hours of time because all other Datacron guides don't tell you about this because they're all written by total jack wagons.

Presence +4 Datacron

Coordinates 1039 , -1245

This Datacron is located in eastern Hoth in the Glacial Fissure area. It is in the far northeastern Glacial Fissure area through a cave and up ontop of a hill. The cave you need to go through in order to reach this Datacron starts around 1046, - 1046 (Screenshots 1 & 2). Once you're through the cave you will want to turn left and head up the hill and over to the large satellite to the north. Head over to where I am in (Screenshot 3) and jump onto the ice ledge directly in front of me. So you'll be where I am in (Screenshot 4). Follow the northern ledges around until you run out of ledge.

You can kind of see the Datacron in the distance where you need to jump down in (Screenshot 5). After you drop down continue north skirting around the mountain until you reach a cave near (Screenshot 6). Go through the cave which will lead you directly to the Datacron.

Red Matrix Shard Datacron

The first thing needed to retrieve this Datacron is a Hydro-Thinner which can be purchased from the Aurek Base Cantina vendor (Republic) or Dorn Base Cantina Vendor (Empire). The Hydro-Thinner costs 18k credits. Once you have it you'll want to go to the Datacron which is located in Highmount Ridge (Screenshots 1 & 2). Use the Hydro-Thinner on it and collect your reward.

Strength +4 Datacron

You need to find an Ancient Probe that wanders around the Clabburn Tundra in western Hoth. The Ancient Probe is a level 47 Champion mob that is commonly found in the western end of Clabburn Tundra wondering on the border of the exhaustion zone (Screenshots 1, 2 & 3). He drops a Depleted Datacron which you need to charge at the Coupled Recharge Station in the Starship Graveyard to retrieve the Strength Datacron. Once you have the Depleted Datacron you need to take it all the way to the Starship Graveyard over to where I am in (Screenshots 4 & 5).

Here you will see a large pipe which you need to run up. At the top of the pipe turn around and run across the ledge leading towards the Star of Coruscant (Screenshot 6). Follow the ledge all the way down to where I am in (Screenshot 7), here is where you'll want to fall down to the pipe right below which puts you in the vicinity of the Coupled Recharge Station. From where I am standing in (Screenshot 8) you will be able to activate the station.

Nar Shaddaa Datacrons

Republic Datacron - Aim +3

Coordinates: X -3363 , Y 248

This Datacron is located in the Nikto Sector of Nar Shaddaa and is only available to Republic Players. To reach this Datacron head over to Nar Shaddaa and take a speeder to the Nikto Sector. Once you arrive head to the far northwestern section of Nikto Sector, right where I am in (Screenshots 1 & 2). You will want to jump up on top of the boxes in (Screenshot 1) and then onto the large crate in front of the boxes. Once you're on the crate continue up the boxes to the east and jump across to the next crate (Screenshot 3). If you're having trouble making this jump, jump from the single crate, not the double stacked ones. The single crate will make it so you don't hit your head on the ceiling.

From the crate continue east by jumping onto the awning. Run across the awnings until you reach the second of the large metal things that connects to the awning holding it up (Screenshot 4). Hop onto this piece of metal and run up the tightrope until you can make it onto the large pipe at the end. Get onto this pipe and run across it over to where you originally were on the awnings (Screenshot 5). From here you will want to jump onto the pipe east of you and up onto the next pipe which is to the east as well.

Note: If you're having trouble with this jump, take it on an angle

From here run further east until you come to a small sign (Screenshot 6). This is one of the more difficult jumps since the area you need to land on is so small. But once you make it jump up onto the large a wee bit north and follow it around a bit east and south. From here you should be able to see the Datacron (Screenshot 7) , only a little bit more and it's ours! To reach it from where I am standing in Screenshot 7 turn a bit to the north and look down off of the column you are on (Screenshot 8). You'll see a small rope that leads to another column and then a rope from that column which leads to the Datacron. You're almost there so don't screw up now!

A final tip, don't bother jumping up to the Datacron's column. Grab it from the rope, why take the risk when you don't have to?

Republic Datacron - Presence +3

Coordinates: X 3339 , Y -3098

To reach this Datacron you will first need to go to the Red Light Sector area on Nar Shaddaa. From where you land on the speeder run northeast to the elevator that takes you down to the Gauntlet Gang Area (Careful if you're low level, it's a heroic area). If you're having difficulty finding where this elevator is take a look at (Screenshot 1). Once you're in the Gauntlet Gang Area head southwest to where I am in (Screenshots 2 & 3) to start your Datacron hunt!

In Screenshot 2 you will see a crate in front of me and a metal thingy. You need to jump onto the crate and then onto the metal thing. From here you will want to run up the awning (Screenshot 4). At the top of the awning jump up onto the platform and you will switch zones to the "Plaza Catwalks". To the south up here you will see an elevator which you will need to take to the Red Light Sector Catwalks. The second you come out of the elevator you will be able to see the Datacron in the distance (Screenshot 5).

It is pretty straight forward how to reach the Datacron from here.

Republic Datacron - Strength +3

Coordinates: X 2157 , Y -1586

This Datacron can be found in the Shadow Town Access Tunnels. To get here you will need to fly to Shadow Town which is in southeastern Nar Shaddaa. Once you arrive in Shadow Town you will want to go far southwest over near the Camp 27 Elevator (Screenshots 1 & 2). From where I am standing in Screenshot 1 you will want to hop onto the crates right in front of me and work your way up to the top of this pile. At the top of the pile you will be able to jump a bit to the south up onto a new area called "Shadow Town - Maintenance Access" (Screenshot 3).

Travel west across the Catwalk until you can make a right, make the right and go to where I am in (Screenshot 4). Here you will see more boxes and a support beam on the other end of the boxes. As you could probably guess you need to jump up onto the boxes and over to the support beam. Travel across the support beam until you find a pipe sticking out of the wall (Screenshot 5). Jump up onto this pipe and then onto the part of the pipe that is slightly higher than the one you just jumped on. Once you make it up there jump onto the large moth light looking thing. It's easy to overshoot this jump so be careful. I kind of aimed at the wall when I made the jump.

From the moth light thing you will want to turn around and look towards the large flat metal thing (Screenshot 6). This next jump looks like a doozy but actually isn't that difficult of a jump. What you need to do is jump from the flat metal thing to the crooked pipes to the north (Screenshot 7). Once you make the jump to this pipe make your way across it, heading in a northern direction, and fall down to the pipe right below (Screenshot 8). Make your way across this pipe and continue to the south jumping over and across any obstacles that get in your way.

Once you make it to the platform at the end of the pipes you'll find an elevator which you need to ride up to reach this Datacron (Screenshot 9). Once you're in the Shadow Town - Access Tunnels getting to this Datacron is extremely easy. All you need to do is follow the hallway until you reach the room a bit to the south and then bam, grab the Datacron.

Datacron - Cunning +3 & Old Prize Machine

Coordinates: X 1959 , Y -1591

This Datacron is located in the High Security Sector of Nar Shaddaa. To get here fly to the Lower Industrial Sector in southwestern Nar Shaddaa and make your way through the Imperial Intelligence Gadget Warehouse. In the southeastern corner of the Warehouse you'll find an elevator that says "Systech East Elevator" (Screenshot 1). Take this elevator to the High Security Lockdown section. Once in the High Security Lockdown area make your way south to the Prison Yard area (Screenshots 2 & 3).

Where I am standing in (Screenshot 3) is where you will need to start your Datacron hunt. The location of where I am on the map can be seen in (Screenshot 2), if you're having difficulty finding it. From where I am in Screenshot 3 you will want to jump up onto the crates directly in front of me and follow the ramp up to the Catwalks. Once up here make your way northwest until you reach a computer terminal that says "Elevator" (Screenshots 4 & 5).

At this terminal choose the Incinerator Room option. Now in here you have to be quick since you'll be taking fire damage the entire time. I recommend reading this paragraph before even entering so you know exactly what needs to be done. Alright so once you're inside the Incinerator Room you need to jump down to the floor and run straight ahead to the Computer Terminal (Screenshot 6). At the terminal you must pick the correct code to open the door in front of you and reveal the Datacron. The correct code is 326:3827. It is the second code on the list.

After you acquire the Datacron make sure to access the Old Prize Machine right next to it. This will give you an item called Slot Decoder which is required for another Datacron coming up. Be sure to put this in a safe place in your inventory as it can be accidentally vendored!!!! To exit this area use the terminal to the north and follow the long hallway up and around back out to the High Security Sector.

Datacron - Yellow Matrix Shard

Coordinates: X 1783 , -1545

WARNING: You need the Slot Decoder item that you get right after collecting the Cunning +3 Datacron on Nar Shaddaa. If you do not have this item you will not be able to get this Datacron.

To reach the Network Security District you need to go to the far northern end of the High Security Sector (Screenshot 2).

The area you need to go to in order to start this Datacron hunt is in the center of the Network Security District. Here you will find a set of crates that you need to climb ontop of to begin this hunt (Screenshot 3 & 4). From the creates you need to jump from crate to crate until you make it ontop of the really large crate (Screenshot 5). From this crate you will be able to see a set of pipes right in front of you, as you could guess you will need to jump up onto them and continue north jumping from pipe to pipe from crate back to pipe.

Where I am standing in (Screenshot 6) is where you will want to end up after jumping up all of the pipes. If you're having trouble jumping from pipe to pipe start jumping on a diagonal. Jumping on a diagonal always works because you actually can run a few inches before jumping. Once uptop you're pretty much already at the Datacron. What you want to do is run across the upper level until you reach the Datacron, which is where you will notice something...

The Datacron is locked in the prize machine, which won't be a problem if you have the Slot Decoder item that I mentioned before which can be found next to the Cunning +3 Datacron. Using the Slot Decoder unlocks the Slot Machine and gives you immediate access to the Datacron. So, right click the Slot Machine and claim your prize!

Empire Datacron - Aim +3

Coordinates: X: -3699, Y: -1692

An annoying datacron to get to. You will need to get to a roof at -3790, -1667 and ride a very slow moving kiosk to the datacron. The ride will take about 5 minutes. Bring reading material.

Empire Datacron - Presence +3

Coordinates: X: 2930, Y: 400

Lots of jumping to reach this datacron. It all starts at 1599, -2665. Screenshots and a video of how to do this will be added in the future.

Empire - Strength +3

Coordinates: X: 2017, Y: 2441

You need to ride a taxi to this datacron from the Network Access Taxi station.

Ord Mantell Datacrons (Republic Only)

Red Matrix Shard Datacron

Coordinates: X 778, Y 8

The Red Matrix Shard is located in southwestern Ord Mantell on the island of Mannet Point and is extremely easy to get to. Near the island of Mannet Point you will find a broken bridge, you will need to run across this bridge and jump off into the water below. Once you're in the water make a break for the island as a lot of this area is counted as an Exhaustion Zone, meaning you will take damage just for being out here. Once you make it across the water and to the island the path you need to take is fairly straight forward. The only other surprise is that cube is guarded by a level 6 elite. (ohh emm gee big deal)

Click here for my Red Matrix Shard Datacron Guide.

Presence +2 Datacron

Coordinates: X -977, Y 9

This Datacron is found on Ord Mantell at the coordinates -977, 9. That is on the northern beach of Mannett Point, for those not good with Coordinates. What you need to do in order to reach this Datacron is travel around the western end of the mountain (don't go inside, instead drop down off of the path and follow the beach around until you find the little divet on the map. This is where the Datacron is located. Honestly there is no reason for a super long explanation so here are a few pictures. Click here to see pictures on how to get to this Datacron.

Aim +2 Datacron

Coordinates: X -656, Y 44

This is by far the easiest Datacron to find on Ord Mantell since it is visible from a frequently traveled path. The Datacron is on Savrip Island which is in kinda southwestern Ord Mantell. This Datacron is just northeast of the Presence +2 one, you literally have to pass right by it in order to get to the Presence Datacron. For that reason I recommend grabbing both of these back-to-back before you head over to the Red Matrix Shard. Anyway, onto how to reach this Datacron. From the path that leads right by it (Screenshot 1) head across the river to Savrip Island.

Once on the island you will want to circle around back to the side that faces the ocean. From here you'll want to find a small little dirt slope that leads you onto the plateau opposite of where the Datacron is (Screenshot 1 & 2). Once here it's easy, make your way across the little rock bridge (Screenshot 3) and up onto the plateau. Once up here the Datacron is all yours! To see my guide on how to retrieve the Aim Datacron click here.

Taris Datacrons

Strength +2 Datacron

Coordinates: X 1187, Y -136

This Datacron is located in Transport Station 5 which is in far eastern Taris. If you're having difficulty finding it, it's in one of the last areas you had quests for on Taris before the bonus chain. If you're still confused take a look at Screenshots 1 & 2 below. Once you find Transport Station 5 you'll want to run all the way through the tunnels far into the northwestern section. Once you come out into the large square room you can pretty much see the Datacron and where you'll be in a few minutes! (Screenshot 3)

To get to the Datacron all you need to do is run across the small pipe nearby (Screenshot 4) and jump to the Datacron's adjacent platform. From here one final jump to the Datacrons platform and you're all done!

Aim +2 Datacron

Coordinates: X -1513 , Y 601

The Aim Datacron is located in the Republic Resettlement Zone, far to the north. To reach it I recommend going through the tunnel area located in (Screenshot 1). You'll want to travel all the way through the tunnel and into the large swamp like area ahead. From here there will be a trail to the north of you, one you'll want to follow up (Screenshot 2). At the top of the path just before the two dead looking trees you'll find a small platform connecting to the rubble to the south (Screenshot 3). Hop onto this platform and follow it around until you find yourself on a small ledge over top the area you just came from below (Screenshot 4).

From here you will want to follow this ledge around and back towards the very first area you started from. When the ledge ends you'll want to jump onto the metal bar below and then onto the hull of the ship from there (Screenshot 6). On the opposite side of the ship you landed on there will be a large metal pipe sticking out, this will be your next jump and a tricky one at that (Screenshot 7). If you miss try and land in between the pipe and the ship, your character will get stuck and you will be able to use /stuck to free him and give yourself a second shot at the jump!

After you make the jump to the pipe follow it until it ends. Below the pipe you'll see another ledge (Screenshot 8) jump down to it and follow it around until you are where I am in (Screenshot 9). From here slowly turn around until you see what is in Screenshot 10. You'll want to be jumping off this platform down onto the ship below through the hole. You can land anywhere you want first if you so choose but the final destination needs to be the ship through the hole.

Cunning +2 Datacron

Coordinates: X: 1047, Y: - 189

This Datacron is located in the Tularan Marsh near Swoop Raceway. To reach this Datacron you will need to start up a damaged pipe around the coordinates (Screenshots 1 & 2). At the top of the damaged pipe you will want to jump onto the broken platform off to the left hand side (Screenshot 3). Run across this broken down platform all the way across to the southern end where you'll be able to jump across to a ledge next to a large wall (Screenshot 4). If you're confused as to what I mean I am looking right at the area in Screenshot 4.

From the platform I am facing in Screenshot 4 you need to jump down to the large surface area to the south. From here run southwest all the way across until you reach another platform at the end of this long one (Screenshot 5). If you're confused at all of where I am right now, take a look at (Screenshot 6). I can see the Datacron from where I am standing and the platform in Screenshot 5, the one we're going to next, is off to my left. If you know where you are now, let's continue towards that Datacron!

What you need to do now is jump across from platform to platform in the southwestern general direction. Once you reach the very end of the platforms you will want to turn right and start jumping across the rubble in a northwesternly direction (Screenshot 7). From here on out the path you will be taking to the Datacron is laid out before you. You really can't get lost.

Willpower +2 Datacron

Coordinates X -363, -147

This is probably by far the easiest Datacron to find on Taris mainly because it requires absolutely no special tactics or strategy to get to. This Datacron is located behind a stack of boxes in the Dynamet General Hospital in The Sinking City. The entrance to this hospital is around X -448, Y -161 (Screenshots 1 & 2). Head down into the entrance of the hospital and down each ramp until you come out to a large room (Screenshot 3). In the right corner ahead of you when you enter the room you'll see a large pile of boxes, I'm looking at this pile of boxes in Screenshot 3.

Run over to these boxes and hop on top of them, behind them you'll see a very well hidden tunnel (Screenshot 4). From here it's easy, all you want to do is follow the corridor all the way around until you reach the Datacron.

Green Matrix Crystal (Republic Only)

Coordinates: X: 1059, Y: 1039

Located in the Abandoned Power Plant. Requires two players to gather this datacron.

Empire Only - Willpower +4

Coordinates: X 442, Y -770

This Datacron takes a bit of jumping to get too, but hey, that's no different than any other Datacron is it?

Empire Only - Cunning +4

Coordinates: X -643, Y 1606

Another Datacron that requires a ton of jumping.

Tatooine Datacrons

Republic Datacron - Cunning +3

Coordinates X 2140 , Y 453

This Datacron is located ontop of a Roof in Anchorhead. To get here you need to make your way up onto the wall that encompasses Tatooine to the north. The coordinates for this wall are 1636, 447 (Screenshots 1 & 2). You will want to jump up onto the wall and follow the northern edge all the way down until you reach a building (Screenshot 3). Jump up onto the building and follow the rooftops north until you arrive at the northern most end (Screenshot 4).

In the upper right of Screenshot 4 you'll see a building with two barrels and an antenna. Make your way over to this building. Around the northern end of this building you will find an awning that you have to jump up onto (Screenshot 5). Make your way across the awning and onto the building it is connected too. To make it onto this building from the awning you will need to jump diagonal onto the rock thing connected to the building (Screenshot 6). Make your way across the northern buildings until you come to a difficult jump (Screenshot 7). To make this jump I recommend first jumping up onto the small little lip on the building and then jumping across.

After you make that jump go north across the building tops yet again until you reach another awning (Screenshot 8). You don't want to go across where the awning is here but to the left or right of it, on the stone. After you make it across to the next roof head to the southern end of it to another large awning. You'll want to go up this awning but be careful since there is a small gap which you could fall through. You want to jump from the rooftop to the awning at about where I am in (Screenshot 9).

At the end of the awning follow the right anchor up onto the next roof and head south across the rooftop and at the very southeastern end you will see the Datacron down on a platform (Screenshot 10). Jump down to the Datacron and collect your reward!

Empire Datacron - Cunning +3

Coordinates: X: 726, Y: 3137

Ontop the roof of the bank in Moslla.

Willpower +3 Datacron

To reach this Datacron you need to jump down onto a large rock in southern Tatooine and kill your way through a tunnel infested with Sand People. The rock you need to jump down to is located near 2073 , 441 (Screenshots 1 & 2). Take your time getting down to it and heal up when you make it down there because you'll be at low health. If you're higher level you won't even need to kill any of the Sand People, at level 50 I just ran right through. Or if you have stealth you can just use that.

At the very end of the tunnel you'll find the Datacron hanging out on the rock ledge.

Aim +3 Datacron

Coordinates X -620 , Y 479

This Datacron is located in far southwestern Jundland. To reach this Datacron you will need to pass the Imperial Base in Southern Jundland. To start towards this Datacron make your way over to the crashsite in southwestern Jundland (Screenshots 1 & 2). When you're standing in this area you will be able to see the Datacron over the edge of Jundland towards The Dune Sea (Screenshot 3). It will be a long fall down to the Datacron but don't worry, you can make it. If you're worried about dieing fall down to the Datacron in stages.

Blue Matrix Shard Datcron

Coordinates: X: -2389, Y: 412

To get to this Datacron you will need to first go all the way southwest in The Dune Sea to the Sandcrawler almost off of the map (Screenshots 1 & 2). The Coordinates to this Sandcrawler are -2336 , 465. Once here you will have to wait for the Jawa Balloon to make it's rotation over to you (Screenshot 3). The balloon takes about 40 minutes to do a full rotation so you could be waiting here for quite awhile. The good news though is after this extremely long wait you will be able to collect two Datacrons from ontop of the Sandcrawler!

Waiting Time...

Still Waiting...

If you're bored something you can do in the mean time is browse my website! Every letter in this sentence will take you to a different page. Visit them all and you're cool!

Well that took forever to make and the balloon still isn't here!

Once the balloon arrives you won't have long to hop on, so make sure you're paying attention and be quick about hoping on! Once you see the balloon in the distance you have about five more minutes to browse my website (wishful thinking, right?) or to keep going AFK. By then it will be really close and time for you to hop on board. Once on board you will be riding the balloon out until it is far northwest. Here you can see a picture of me going along for the balloon ride (Screenshot 4) Now I'm almost there... (Screenshot 5). Just a lil bit more.... (Screenshot 6). Once you reach the Sandcrawler you will need to jump off the eastern edge. You'll know when to make the jump, just wait patiently until all you see is the Sandcrawler below. At that point you just literally just run off if you'd like (But don't! Obviously just incase).

I made the jump! Here is our first reward! (Screenshot 7 & 8). After you collect your first Datacron make your way around the Sandcrawler until you come out to where I am in (Screenshot 9). Be very very very careful, you wouldn't want to mess anything up now! From where I am standing in Screenshot 9 make your way around to where I am in (Screenshot 10). Slowly from this area put your back down to the ledge below and jump up repeatedly. Each time you jump hit whatever keybinding you have set to make your character go backwards. It will take awhile but it's important you don't miss this!

Finally you'll fall down right where the Datacron is and bam! You're done! (Screenshot 11). You've now successfully collected two of the most annoying Datacrons in the game!

Tython Datacrons (Republic Only)

Endurance +2 Datacron

Coordinates: X -33, Y -35

There are two ways for players to snatch up this Datacron, the first and easiest way is for them to travel through the long cave which starts at -38, -28. The second and harder way is to scale the rocks in front of the datacron and retrieve it using that method. If you want to see many different screenshots of how to locate this Datacron click here.

Willpower +2 Datacron

Coordinates: X -640, Y 36

This Datacron is located on the western side of the map in the Ruins of Kaleth. You can find the Datacron on the hill at the base of a statue around X: -640, Y: 36. Despite the location of the Datacron, the path you want to take to locate it begins at X: -648, Y: 4. You will be using the knocked over column here to climb up and into the Upper Kaleth area. If you're having difficulty with this use the little sliver of pillar to reach the Datacron, ignore the large chunk at the top. From here the path should be clear on how to reach the Datacron, if it is not you can use screenshots on this page.

Blue Matrix Shard Datacron

Coordinates: X -92, Y 94

This Datacron is located in the southern Forge of Remnants. To reach this Datacron you will need to work your way through The Forge of Remnants in a southwestern direction until you find a gap in the ruins (Screenshots 1 & 2). After passing through this gap you will want to continue west and pass through the second gap (Screenshots 3 & 4). From here the path is pretty much laid out for you, finding the Datacron will be a breeze. Final coordinates of the Datacron: X -92, Y 94

Ilum Datacrons

Red Matrix Shard Datacron

Coordinates: X 552 , Y 549

This is probably one of the easiest Datacrons to get in the entire game. For Republic players it is located in a friendly area, meaning there is absolutely no danger in retrieving this Datacron. For Imperials you will need to dodge a few elite Republic guards and possibly deal with a Republic player or two but nothing you can't handle. Now that you're probably itching to know, this Datacron is located atop the Republic base of Ilum. It's safely tucked away inside a hut atop the base around the coordinates (552 , 549).

Aim + 4 Datacron

Coordinates: X 920, Y 1072

This Datacron is located in far southeastern Ilum, to reach it you will need to run through a snow storm and an exhaustion zone. To get here safely follow the southern wall around to where I am on the map in (Screenshot 1). The exhaustion zone will only bring you to about 50% health before you make it back to safety and can retrieve the Datacron. Be careful getting down here if you're Republic as there are many Imperial elites just north of where this Datacron is located.

Endurance +4 Datacron

Coordinates: X 106, Y -75

This Datacron is located in a canyon in the center of Ilum (Screenshot 1 & 2) and much like the other Datacrons on Ilum, is extremely easy to get. There are two ways to get to this Datacron, the first way is to jump down into the canyon (don't just jump straight down, jump from ice ledge to ice ledge so you don't die) and the second way is to take an elevator down. I prefer just falling down into the canyon and then either using Quick Travel or taking the elevator back up.

Take into note that if you're Republic you will want to take the eastern elevator up and if you're Empire you'll want to take the western elevator. If not you'll be fighting some mobs when you come up.

Yellow Matrix Shard Datacron

Coordinates: X 311, Y -375

This Datacron is located in the Imperial Base Camp of northern Ilum. Much like the Yellow Matrix Shard piece is, this Datacron is protected by a member of the Imperial faction (the Yellow Matrix Shard it was protected by a Republic mob, but you get my point...) Despite being in the middle of an Imperial base this Datacron is still rather easy to get if you're Republic, even without Stealth. (Screenshot 1) has a look at the Datacron from a distance, the frozen lake nearby the base.

If you look close enough you can see the Datacron inside the hut directly in front of me. From where I am now it's pretty much a straight run in to get the Datacron if you want to avoid all of the Imperial forces. To see the exact location of the Datacron on the map and in game take a look at (Screenshots 2 & 3)

Willpower +4 Datacron

Coordinates: X 300 , Y -1565

This Datacron is located in far northwestern Ilum but to get to it you will need to go down an icey slope in northeastern Ilum (Screenshot 1 has it marked). Where the big white X is on the map is where you will find the slope. You can actually kind of see the slope on the map if you look close enough. Once you're down into the icy chasm you'll want to run all the northwest to where I am on the map in (Screenshot 2). Here you will find an entrance to a cave with a lot more of those Lisk mobs as well as a big champion mob called The Crystal Eater.

All the way in the back northern end of the cave you'll find the Datacron. If you're looking at the Crystal Eater it's to the left, or, in otherwords, straight ahead from where you enter the cave.

Quesh

Strength +4 Datacron

Coordinates X 550 , Y 163

This Datacron is located in southern Quesh and is one of the easier ones to get to here. To start towards this Datacron head over to where I am in (Screenshots 1 & 2). From here you will want to follow the white rock ledge west until you hit the wall and then south down and around the tree. Now it gets a little bit tricky around where I am in (Screenshot 3). Here you will have a giant rock in your way. What you need to do is skirt around the right side of this rock. If you fall onto the little metal ledge stub-thingy that's ok you can get back up to land from there.

Once you make it by the rock continue south following the white stone and using that as your guide. After you go around a corner and come out to a quarry looking area you will be able to see the Datacron in the very short distance (Screenshot 4).

Cunning +4 Datacron

Coordinates X 420 , Y -130

What you need to do to reach this Datacron is go to the area north of the Republic base on Quesh (Screenshot 1). Where I am standing on the map in the first screenshot you will find a pipe which you need to climb up ontop of to start the hunt for this Datacron (Screenshot 2). Once you're ontop of the pipe jump up onto the siding like how I am in (Screenshot 3). Now from here you will want to keep jumping in a southwesternly direction from stub to stub until you reach the large yellow pipe (Screenshot 4). In Screenshot 4 I am looking back at the area we just came from, so you don't get confused.

From the pipe you will want to make it to land and then follow the land west until you come to a large drop off area where you can actually see the Datacron (Screenshot 5). From here you will want to drop down and follow the northern end of the fence all the way around until you come to a break in the fence (Screenshot 6). At the break, go through and over to where you saw the Datacron before and bam, you're all done!

Endurance +4 Datacron

Coordinates X 200 , 770

This Datacron is located inside a cave in central Quesh (Screenshots 1 & 2) and could be easy or hard to get depending on how you look at it. What this Datacron requires is you to go into the cave, deactivate the ventilation system which causes the room to fill with gas. Once the room fills with gas you need to hit the east and west switches which are on two pillars in the room. After that the force field to the south which the Datacron is behind will be lifted. It's pretty easy, you just have to be semi-fast doing it or you die.

When you turn off the ventilation to the room be sure to be standing where I am in (Screenshot 3) that way you are locked inside the room and able to hit the east and west switches.

Voss Datacrons

Willpower +4 Datacron

To get to this Datacron you will first need to fly from Voss-ka to either Ken-La Outpost (Republic) or Fort Kodentha (Empire). Both of these places are in The Old Paths area of Voss-ka, which is good because we're about to be looking for an old path! In southeastern Old Paths you'll find an obvious large path that travels up the side of the mountain (Screenshots 1 & 2). Follow the path up the mountain until you come to where I am in (Screenshot 3). I am looking at the rocks you need to climb which lead up to the cave, which you will obviously need to follow through (Screenshot 4).

This cave will lead you under Voss-ka and around to the Datacron. Once you find the cave you'll be led straight to the Datacron.

Endurance +4 Datacron

This Datacron is located in The Old Paths area as well but at the Shrine of Healing this time. In order to get this Datacron you need to complete the trial quest line, which is pretty much the main quest line of all of Voss. The Datacron is located in the largest room at the Shrine of Healing (Screenshots 1 & 2). In order to retrieve this Datacron you will first need to Meditate at the green crystal in the northeast corner of the room (Screenshots 3 & 4). If you've completed the appropriate quests you will be able to meditate here and then you can meditate at the Datacron to claim your reward.

Strength +4 Datacron

This Datacron is located in southern Voss in The Gormak Lands. If you take the southern most flightpath you'll probably end up here but it's best to check your map first before flying. Once you arrive at The Gormak Lands you will want to go all the way down to the southeast corner of the map at (Screenshots 1 & 2). Once you're here you will want to travel through the small gap in the wall into the circular area down here. Behind the really large rock directly in front of you when you enter is the Datacron.

Cunning +4 Datacron

This Datacron as well as Presence +4 are both located in The Nightmare Lands, so you will want to get both of these back to back. You will find this Datacron in The Boneyard heroic area to the west in The Nightmare Lands. Once in the Boneyard your first stop will be the northern destroyed walker which has a Fallen Trooper next to it whom you need to collect a Shield Decoder off of (Screenshots 1 & 2). Once you have the shield decoder you will want to head just northeast of where you found the body to the red force field area in the ground.

Here you will find a computer terminal that you must use to deactivate the force field, obviously this terminal requires the Shield Decoder you just found (Screenshots 3 & 4). Using the terminal deactivates the Red Force Field, which once deactivated you will want to ride the elevator down to the room below where you will find the Datacron.

Presence +4 Datacron

This Datacron as well as Cunning +4 are both located in The Nightmare Lands, so you will want to get both of these back to back. The location of this Datacron is far northeast in The Nightmare Lands, you will need to access to Spirit World in order to retrieve this Datacron which can only be accessed through the Meditation Tablet (Screenshots 1 & 2). The Datacron is in the middle of the room which you're taken too after using the tablet. To get back out to the real world use the tablet again near where you came in.

Thank you I was hoping someone would have this up as an easy reference to gather what's needed as I level.

You're welcome!

I'm sorry that I couldn't get more information in this post, like the helpful screenshots... But forums are rather limited.

+1 (metaphorically speaking, as I can't actually find a reputation button on this forum :o)

Thanks Almar. This is a really useful guide. I've often wondered when someone might have the info on all of these easter eggs.

Cheers!

Thanks for the post/time/effort!! Been waiting for something like this :)

You're welcome! I'm glad people enjoy it! I'm going to be updating the guide periodically on my site over the next few days, mostly just graphical stuff and small tweaks and changes. Also working on a massive farming guide now!
