Decidion
Been trying to figure out the most optimal rotation (deception) and juggling these two back and forth. Both require stealth to be used. So both cannot be used in the initial burst, its one or the other. Reaping Strike (15 force) does more damage, but Spike (20 force) stuns the target so you can move behind for a Maul (40 force). But Spike + Maul costs significantly more force. Thoughts? FlavivsAetivs
You mean the imp equivalent of Psychokinetic Blast? Psychokinetic Blast always takes priority. So Priority order: 1. Force Breach (3 Stacks Force Potency) 2. Force Breach Procced 3. Psychokinetic Blast Procced 4. Shadow Strike Procced 5. Spinning Strike Procced (Since it has a chance to Proc Shadow Strike/Psycho and you don't want to waste that) or Reaping Strike Procced 6. Non-Procced Spinning Strike (Happens sometimes) 7. I'd personally use Spike + Maul as an opener on weaker targets that can be stunned and leave Reaping Strikes for targets that can't be stunned like bosses and some elite mobs. Reaping Strike can also be used on a 15 second window after landing a critical strike Edited November 30, 2016 by arquenvaron
Decidion
Yeah after playing around with it some I agree....stick with the spike+maul opener and use reaping strike primarily after a crit proc (or on non-stunnable mobs).

silvershadows
Spike > Recklessness > Discharge > Reaping Strike (proc'd) > Ball Lightning > Maul > Voltaic Slash > Voltaic Slash > Ball Lightning > Discharge > Phantom Stride > Discharge. That'd be your opener, then use the above as priority order, taking out spike and using ball lightning/maul/discharge as they proc, and phantom stride/recklessness on cooldown to proc your 3 stacks for discharge As an aside, if you skip the spike opener (on players) you won't build their resolve bar and can then stealth out after your opener and reopen with spike (if they aren't dead) for another round of your opener which is pretty much a kill.
