Introduction

Greetings all. My name is Stippling and I am the guild master of <Failure>. I will be taking over tracking PvE progression for the Bastion and hope to follow in the footsteps of Fuyri's hard work and dedication. I will be imposing a few changes to how we do things, mostly in enforcing the requirements for boss tracking as described below, which have been a bit lax of late. I also will be differentiating between boss kills achieved with the new Nightmare Power buff to reward groups who kill bosses while the content is its most challenging.

Participating in Progression Tracking

To get your guild listed for progression, each time your group kills a boss (or a set of new kills), submit a reply to this thread detailing the following:

 

__Guild Name

__Empire or Republic

__What raid you are doing / which boss you killed

__Server (and/or UTC) time it was killed / screenshot or video proof (more on this below)

 

Valid Screenshots

All progression kills must be full guild kills. All screenshots for proof of kills have to be in the instance shortly after the boss dies, and all 8/16 people must be seen in the raid frames in the screenshot. It must have proof of difficulty mode. All screenshots must be unedited with the game clock clearly shown. Using the UTC clock to verify the time of your kill is optional but beneficial, especially when competing for World Progression. Click here for an example. There are a few different ways you can post an acceptable screenshot/video:

 

  1. Take a screenshot with your Achievement tab open and showing the boss you have killed.
  2. Take a screenshot the second the boss dies and the "Achievement Unlocked" is still on your screen.
  3. Post a screenshot showing the loot the boss dropped.
  4. Videos are also great.

 

Nightmare Content Verification:

 

For new nightmare content (Dread Fortress and Dread Palace) I'm going to be enforcing the rules more strictly to ensure content has been cleared.

 

Please ensure that as many of the following are all present:

  1. The full raid group.
  2. The difficulty setting or the loot dropped by the boss.
  3. The achievement (either in chat or in your achievement window).
  4. Verification that the boss was killed under the effects of Nightmare Power.

 

If your screenshot includes this UTC clock your ranking will be based off that time, if that UTC clock is not present then it will be based off the time of your post. Do not use a different UTC clock as lots do not update constantly.

 

 

 

Ranking

Kill stuff, you go up. Rankings will prioritize guilds with the most kills of the current tier of content.

 

Example: A guild who has killed Hard Mode Brontes will rank lower than a guild that has killed Nightmare Mode Nefra.

Hey thanks for reposting. Whenever you get the chance, just take a quick screenshot of your achievements window with Nefra Nightmare defeated. The boss is easy enough that we can be a bit lax on the requirements for her.

If we get more than a raid week or two on Grob, who knows, we may get another kill next month.

Yeah, the nice thing about Draxus is that, now that you know the whole fight, there's really not much RNG. It's more or less an execution fight, and you'll find it get easier and easier (unless you're in Failure :rolleyes:).

 

Grob'thok still gets my heart racing, intense fight, especially for tanks.

Friendly reminder that any kill reported AFTER Patch 2.8 (Tuesday, June 10th) will require documented proof that it was killed with the Nightmare Power buff active (targetting the dead boss). Any kill devoid of such proof will be automatically assumed to have been achieved post-2.8 and will be denoted as a standard Nightmare kill.

 

Good luck in the final week of Dread Fortress progression all!

Cool, yeah I'm sure you all have had this for a while, but glad I can finally get it up there. Will place you all ahead of those who have only killed Nefra but behind those who have killed Draxus purely to encourage linearity.
