This Heroic 4 involves killing the Colicoid Queen.

 

Does anyone have any pointers on how to do it? The queen itself obviously isn't a problem, it's the cronies that come to help her ><

Yeah, a lot of the Heroics can be done without a healer, as long as you all work together. But this was one where we had to quit because we didn't have a healer. Instead it was 2 tanks and 2 dps.

 

Funny thing is, all 4 of us was like 4-5 levels ABOVE the required level of the heroic and we still had problems.

It's a bug (pun intended) I think. First time, I did this quest (1 tank, 2dps, 1 heal/dps) we were wiped out continuously as the queen spawned waves and waves of collocoids. Another try with 1 tank, 1 dps, 2dps/heal, the queen only spawned one wave of the collocoids.

 

If you are having a problem, phase out and phase in.

Concentrate less on her and more on wiping the waves of adds out as they appear. Keeping the adds down stops the healer from being over whelmed and running out of energy or force. Doing a LOS pull to the smaller room and keeping the party in a small area allows AOE heals to keep most of the party's health topped off. Also allows everyone else to use AOE's to kill the adds faster. Once the adds are down return to killing the queen. Repeat for each wave.
