If you are talking about the basic "space missions", yes, they died out long ago due to lack of interest. If you're talking about GSF (Galactic Star Fighter) - I haven't tried it, so I don't know. 🤔

Yes, with Space Missions resurgence due to conquest obiective they could use some... adjustments Wouldn't mind slight buff to health and\or nerf to damage taken.
All grind and no joy makes Jack a dull boy.

They do take one maybe two tries to know when to use the special abilities, but that's it. They're not hard after that, there's no RNG - it's all the same.

Exactly, once you know the level you will just do it with closed eyes. Ist same as some PVE bosses in game, its just the same stuff over and over.

The heroic ones that came with the grade 7 stuff are absurd - doable with a lot of practice and memorization - but not what I would call fun.

Most of those are also impossible without all the grade 7 stuff, which require spending crazy stupid amounts of credits to buy the couple that can be crafted, and loads and loads of space comms, which will take someone getting started a lot of space dailies to aquire.

They were at one point on the CM, as well as supposed to be in collections, but I never see them on the CM anymore and while I have a few characters with the items that show as 'in collections', they are not really there.

For the daily CQ objective though, just do the Jablim Escort (Imp - name may be off) or Fondor Escort (Pub - name may be off) mission as they can be done with no ship upgrades, though picking up the vendor starship equipment (GTN area on Fleet, vendor in every planet spaceport) makes those two missions a joke.

Oh and fun fact - these originally were infinitely repeatable, but as noted above, because they are all fixed (they never change), credit farmers and power levelers botted space missions 24/7.

It takes a few tries to memorize them, its not really hard. Yes you do need the best “gear” but thats not really guarantee to succsess. The gear was on CM maybe in 2.0 i think thats true. Its not that hard to buy now as people sell the parts on GTN for maybe 2-3 mil a piece. If you have a friend who plays gsf a lot just ask him since gsf also hives fleet coms and these people use them to buy this gear and sell on gtn.

Some of the heroics are not that bad, some require damn near perfect play over the course of minutes - though there are videos around that show when, where and how to use all the abilities to complete the mission, so players don't have to figure it all out for themselves.

As far as the starship parts - I forgot they can be bought with comms and sold, so all can be found for credits without having to earn comms on a character, but at least on SF, they aren't anywhere near 2 million each (crafted ones are cheap-ish) - more like 15 million plus for each.

Wow, I just checked on DM GTN and they are for like 150k credits, really really cheap so thats quite a difference.

I'm on Star Forged and found some of the crafted ones for several hundred thousand, but the ones bought with space comms start at 15 million and go up from there - way too much for me.

They’re perfectly fine. In fact, I’d say they’re a bit too easy after you get Grade 7 components. The only one I find annoying (at first) was the one where you have to put a lot of damage (in a short period of time) to destroy the main satellite.
