As a deterrent to any troublemakers the patrol route will be public knowledge. If you live in the announced area you may feel safe leaving your house that day knowing that Alpha Company is protecting you. WHAT: Combat Patrol and Tauntaun Farming WHEN: Saturday, 09/19/15 @ 8:30 pm. EST. WHERE: Hoth DURATION: 1-2 hours POINT OF CONTACT: Cpl. Illumori Victus SUMMARY: Starting on Saturday, 9/19/15, Alpha Company will be patrolling the icy planet Hoth. The Company will patrol all areas of the system that contain Tauntaun nests. We encourage all Imperial players to attend and give us a fight. As we patrol, we will stop to RP with you whether you are imperial or republic and we will not attack unless you initiate combat. You may however expect to be stunned and questioned if we think that you are acting suspicious. We will also respond with force if we hear of any lowbies being attacked on planet. We hope this advanced notice will encourage people to find us if they want to do some World PvP with us or do some RP with us. These patrols may be canceled in favor of other events on a particular week if needed in which case that will also be announced here. Kateri Andriss SUMMARY: Alpha Company will be patrolling the Black Hole, keeping the peace and responding to any suspicious activity in the area. We will be starting at the Republic base and patrolling the routes between the Republic and Imperial bases. We will be there for about 30 minutes (or longer in the event of prolonged engagements). WHERE: Eastern Ice Shelf (the not-Gree-area area) on Ilum DURATION: 30 min - 1 hr POINT OF CONTACT: 1SG Kjvago Mahr SUMMARY: Alpha Company will be patrolling the Eastern Ice Shelf (the not-Gree-area area) on Ilum, keeping the peace and responding to any suspicious activity in the area. We will be starting at the Republic space port and patrolling about the area, slowly making our way north. We will be there for about 30 minutes if we encounter no resistance or longer should some wpvp develop as it usually does. As always, we will stop to RP with you regardless of your faction. The Company will patrol all areas of the moon. We encourage all Imperial players to attend and give us a fight. As we patrol, we will stop to RP with you whether you are Imperial or Republic and we will not attack unless you initiate combat. You may however expect to be stunned and questioned if we think that you are acting suspicious. We will also respond with force if we hear of any lowbies being attacked on planet. kjmarst Posted January 21, 2016 Share Posted January 21, 2016 Nixx, The reason for the early times on the patrols is to give room for other events later the same day. Sometimes these patrols are low key things where we just wander the planet for 30 min and kill a world boss or do some achievement objectives, and sometimes we run into people who want to RP with us or fight us and it gets more interesting. Our weekends sometimes gets packed with events between WPvP, RP, Training Classes, Drunk PvP, Operations, etc. For patrols to be able to fit in it has to be this way. Patrols happen once every weekend, and the NCOs get to pick between Fri/Sat/Sun and a start time between 1900 and 2000 EST. These are run by our NCOs usually (last weekend was an exception when I led) in order to give them experience planning events and taking the lead in WPvP.
