While i love the large number of available companions we have these days, i find Ranos most interesting with good backstory(unlike Hexid whos just weird and annoying). Id like to see Ranos get more story, backstory, companion missions - just something that would develop her more. At the very least something like class companions have before Kotfe with their conversations slowly unlocking up until lvl 10 influence.

That's probably how it would have to work with Ranos, Hexid, and so on, but it *isn't* how it works for pre-KotFE class companions. Their conversations unlock as you progress your class story, even if you do nothing outside of those conversations to increase their Influence.

That is how it works now, but not how it worked before KotFE, which it would seem is what the OP meant since they mentioned influence and conversations opening as one increased influence. All of which changed with FE.

I started playing in 2013, and remember the slightly freaky thing of Elara returning to duty after she was wounded in the Gauntlet, and I was able to do her entire Chapter 3 companion story back-to-back before going to Belsavis.

My view is that they should have a new event that's somewhat like DvL, but probably with a different theme and definitely its own rewards, including a set of tokens that you earn for participating, and that can be used at specialist vendors to purchase rewards from the 2016 DvL event. Master Ranos would be available from that vendor.

 

Precedent: the Nightlife event, where last year's special rewards (especially the new companion) are available *this* year from the Golden Certificate vendor.

 

That provides a way for people who didn't get those rewards at the previous event to get them (participate on new characters, earn the token, buy the old rewards), and yet still have *new* rewards for people who *did* get them before.

Maaaaan, I would give my left pinky toe and slap my mother to get Master Ranos! I was a subscriber during the DvL event but didn't know what I was doing, so I missed out on the opportunity to get her. Please, Please, PLEASE make her obtainable again!!! Edited October 20, 2020 by wodigg

Because she is like Hexid, you can talk with her for a while in base not as others. That's why he is so important to me and in general finally chiss companion.

There has been hints at a DvL 2.0 event next year, or so has been said on the forums. I didn't hear it myself, but they could include some of the old rewards (and hopefully new ones) . I can't see any other way of bringing her back, as it wasn't a sub reward, so I can't see them releasing her on the CM. And as it was an event reward, I can't see them making her a sub one.
