So I've finished the class storyline for my sith inquisitor and now revisiting some of the planets I see exploration quest markers for quests that I know I have already done but mixed in between are new quests how do you guys keep track of this?

In the "yellow markers" category, there are basically three types of mission:
* Totally plain yellow triangle = "Side" mission. They are all one-offs.
* Yellow triangle with a yellow four-point star by it = "Exploration" mission. They are one-offs, and can be hidden by turning off "Show Exploration Missions" in the map panel.
* Yellow triangle with arrow heads so it looks very vaguely like a recycling symbol here = repeatable mission.

When 4.0 was released, they changed a bunch of Side missions into Exploration missions, and that meant that those missions were reset to a "not yet done" status.

There are also the bonus series, that are now weekly repeatable. Each consist of a bunch of exploration quests that are available again after weekly reset.
Let us turn off that gaudy flashing icon over every vendor's head.
Let us sort our companion list and hide or kick out the unwanted ones!
