Buellzebubba
How could I have deleted this message instead of only editing it? Edited November 26, 2020 by Buellzebubba Found answer
Erevan_Kindelar
You cannot delete a thread, only the forum admins can do that, and they generally only do that when there is a forum rules violation (but managing that without also getting your account flagged/banned is a challenge...). Better to just let it fade to page 2, 3 and then further into the mists of obscurity. Given the volume of posts on this forum, it should only take a few months, assuming people do not keep replying on the thread to bump it to the top... we have very little to entertain us at the moment, so we take childish pleasure in such small things
DarkTergon
Sounds more like he put up a post, went to edits it, and some how deleted what it said, and saved it wrong. Chances are it was a misclick, etc. If this is the case, you can always just edit you original post, to say what you meant, or start a new one to stop any confusion. JediQuaker
How could I have deleted this message instead of only editing it? You can't. It just dies a natural forum death (cycles down the list). 😀
turbomagnus
You can't. It just dies a natural forum death (cycles down the list). 😀 Forum posts never die, they merely go into hibernation for years until they're necro'd by someone new to the game thinking it's better to revive an out-of-date thread than to start a new one on the subject.
