I understand the best gear in the game has no alignment requirement, which is good. I also believe the light gear has identical stats as the dark gear. So my question is, does the gear look any different? I don't think this would affect which path I choose unless the gear is just horrible looking for either light or dark.

I couldnt bring myself to play goodie two shoes light side for my entire gaming experience despite what some temporary gear might look like.

 

Just enjoy yourself and not worry about a outfit that will just be obsolete after the next content update. I myself love being a evil dude who laughs at other people's misery and my companion just cant get enough of it.

Well said, that is exactly what I will do. I started thinking my character development is going to be more important to me than the looks of a certain gear type. Edited December 16, 2011 by Zerothreat
