Borbog
Hello, I would like to know if it's possible to extend an Operation Id/Tag in swtor from week to week (as in world of warcraft). We are actually raiding once a week and it's pretty hard to keep a progress since you have to start a new ID every week. If it's possible how can i make it? LordTurin
Err what is an Operation ID/Tag? Is that another word for a lockout? Cause that's the only thing that resets once a week. If so, no there is no way to extend it week to week, you have to go back in and beat all the earlier bosses to get to the one you are progressing on. Jerba
Sadly no, there is no such function in SWTOR. I'd really like to see it added but chances of them doing it are close to zero. The only thing you can do is e.g. if you have a 3/5 lockout, you can enter the operation Tuesday shortly before reset, and then after the reset is over kill the 4th boss, then you'll have a lockout for the 4th boss and continue there. But this only works if there's no maintenance on that Tuesday and you are able to raid during reset time which barely anyone can. So in other words, no there's no way to extend the lockout. Jerba
Err what is an Operation ID/Tag? Is that another word for a lockout? The operation lockout is called ID in German, maybe that's what he was referring to. Same as Twink, DD (damage dealer) and Dispel; words that are used by German players but that no English player would understand because they are called differently in English (alt, dps, cleanse). Some games' vocabulary does use DD instead of dps in English. And it's worse than you think, because a "twink' in English is something subtly different, specifically an alt who is given aid (ready-made top-notch lowbie gear, usually) by higher-level characters owned by the same player. xkcurtisx
all the replies above are wrong. If there is no serer reset (patch update etc) just make your way into the instance minutes before 1:00pm CET Tuesdays (weekly reset during winter times. Summer its 2:00pm CEST) once your in just wait for the time to come and pull the boss. it ll carry the lockout from one week to another. (it is important that the person has the lockout who is inside to pull, if for say he is just there to pull the boss with no lockout it wont carry over) Alternate method just leave someone in the instance on the above specified time and have them autorunning against a wall, it ll keep the lockout active for your raid.
