Hi, all I just found out that my HK-51 companion is so boss when he uses the move assassinate which does heaps of damage and this is proven by this screenshot http://i49.tinypic.com/xc439s.jpg

I'm not sure.

It's his assassinate ability, and yes. It's designed so that you can insta-kill any non-elite, non-champion mob after gaining stacks from killing other mobs, and you have to use it to initiate because it's out-of-combat only.

I didn't click the screen shot but I think my HK was hitting for around 12k at level 1 with Assassinate.

 

I should add this information so everyone doesn't feel misled by my statement:

 

My HK did not come with any usable gear. The only level 1 sniper rifle you can get for him is the cartel coin one (the legacy bound world event ones are not level 1 with no mods in them - you can't use them), so be prepared to pay 1 mil for him and another couple hundred thousand on a gtn sniper rifle for him.

 

Although he's great til you get off your newbie world, he is less useful for a good stretch of the game because of the lack of moddable droid gear. He comes with that full action bar, which is nice, but it's better to just use your first companion in appropriate gear past your home world, until you can get a full set of moddable droid gear for HK.

advice: dont take his gear off, it still works, just scaled down.
