I'm not a fan of ripping models and rigging them as its too easy to make a mistake but a way to manipulate and pose your character manually for photos and role play would be something I feel would be enjoyed by a lot of the community Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It wasn't 100% clear from your original post whether you knew about them. But for the sort of thing you're looking for, yes, it would be useful.
