zaskar
The title says it all. We need a place to work out how ships work besides a freaking match. It is hard to mentor new pilots without a place to be able to show them what we're talking about. This would be solve so many problems, it's not even funny. SammyGStatus
Devs have no plans to do anything except intergalactic barbie. I've followed this game since 2009 and the disappointment keeps mounting. While nice, not on the road map (which leads into 3.0 iirc)

zaskar
This would be so simple too. Load up an instance of Lost Shipyards Deathmatch without a kill counter or timer. Add a button to the launch screen that says "Practice". On button press if there is no practice shipyards, spawn one. If there are too many people in one, spawn another. When the last person leaves, close the area. If they want to be "nice" to us, replace the random powerup nodes with a weapons node, some sort of deployed weapon from a bomber or a satellite turret. I'm ok with heroscript, this would take an afternoon. An intern that does not why you have a case in a switch can drop it on the test servers in three days max. Anysao
If we want to make it look really nice, they could recycle the Republic and Imperial fleets to fly around. Only problem I can think of is... How exactly would you get out...? (No, we cannot land on the fleet station like in Battlefront two)
