I know that the reason why specific classes cannot choose different ships is due to cinematics and class quests set in the ships. However won't it be possible that after reaching lvl55 with all class quests done and all quests with companions done as well, you will do superquest (which will be available only after mentioned conditions) and could buy new ship? Even switching to existing ships.... There is a possibility to sell new ships in GTM or to buy accomodations for you ship And old topic: will it be possible that from 2.0 you could have some interactions on ships? My companions stay on one place doing nothing and it seems that the ship is completely empty. They could walk, talk with each other, train combat, etc etc.... if they have quest available for you, you will find them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you have all the cinematic questes done, only then you will be able to start a quest for new ship and/or ship modifications.
