Anyone else think the blaster rifle moves for Vanguard are lacking / missing something without Full Auto or an adequate replacement? Now I know how some people that don't really care for aesthetics like to say it was a balancing move but Full Auto was far from imbalancing Vanguard / a useless move for pros. For one it had 30m range so there is its use right there and had high damage output and a stun for PvE weak mobs. Also this was a very good move for tank vanguards as it has less damage moves compared to the other specializations also it completed the blaster rifle arsenal as thats what blaster rifles can do, fire in full auto like the assault cannon. So while I believe this was a balancing move I think the devs should go back on it solely for aesthetics and a bone for a more well rounded blaster rifle move arsenal for all specializations in Vanguard.

Also, Shield Specialist Vanguard is a little boring now without Full Auto. it went well with Ion Pulse, Energy Blast, Ion Storm, and High Impact Bolt. More blaster rifle moves are always good, as a trooper should be a class that primarily uses its blaster rifle like how a jedi primarily uses its lightsaber. Please devs if its not too much trouble for the next expansion implement Full Auto back for Vanguard or give it an adequate Blaster Rifle move replacement thats actually aesthetically pleasing for a Blaster Rifle class to have.

Another thing I've seen Tank Jedi Guardians doing 700k+ damage 300k+ protection 200k+ healing in warzones. This is cause it hasn't been butchered like the Vanguard class please devs at the very least if there is no plans for real blaster rifle moves in the new expansion reinstate Full Auto for Vanguards.

I agree with this, it's not like it did that much damage, but it was just fun to have some blaster attacks. But with Bioware *allegedly* wanting to remove all channels and casts from melee classes (which powertechs technically are), I wouldn't hold my breath, they might as well just give us a techstaff at this point. (That would be pretty awesome tho )

If I wanted to be nitpicking, I would say that initially the vanguard was a ranged tank and a melee dps but it seems bioware cannot do/does not want that anymore.

Well, it never really was a ranged tank, with one of it's cores moves being a melee attack on a quite short CD (9sec cd plus CD resets). It was mostly just a melee tank with a couple of ranged abilities to help when you have to be at range.

Maybe a 1.5 s mobile channel, like a mini unload. Give it ok dmg ,30m range and a longish cooldown, like say 30s. Similar to a saber throw on juggers, so something to reach out to ppl at range but not spammable or overly strong. Would be nice to pew pew a bit on powertechs, vanguards do shoot a bit more attacks from their rifle.
