While the current selection of twi'lek headbands are decent, they are limited in that, they share fairly similar colors, and are all of the metallic type.

Considering how most headgears aren't very lekku-friendly, I think this is the best alternative we can hope for. Headbands ought be infinitely easier to model out than haircuts, so I think it's a reasonable request.

Good idea. Suppoorted. We already have special options for other races, so there imho should be Twi'lek headgear be there as well.

I'm in support of this idea. I really think they should make an effort to create different lekku positions as well. I know this is a potential clipping problem, but some variety would be nice. Personally, if I could make a Jedi look anything like Shado Vao, I would create a Twi'lek in an instant.

 

They could have different lekku "sleeves" like the ones he wears.

Really like the black straps on the lekku anything to add a darker element to Twileks would be awesome , still hopeful to see purple skin and more tattoos in the future even full body

 

No hoods because of clipping with Twileks has annoyed me since day one even masks that cover them and you dont have the option, if they could actually fix lekku to face forward and be able to wear hoods Id think i would have a heart attack

You know what else would be nice, within this "care package" ... freaking hoods.

 

Last time I checked, when you're armed with cloth and needle, you can make the hood portion of an outfit to fit the person that is going to wear it... all you need to do is expand it for the lekku and have them facing forward instead of down the back.

 

Oddly enough... our Lekku can move.

Does the hood show up when you wear a mask? I have seen that some masks can be worn under a hood, so is it the same for twi'lek or are the hoods just "turned off" for that race?

If they ever made something like this it would be put into the cartel market as more customization options, like the mirialan tattoos, which is fine by me.. But the hoods is something they most likely will never do anything about, since they can't turn it into money..

As far as the clipping issue goes, give us movable lekku and quite simply the very same caveat that was given out when we finally got long hair for humans- "Yes, this may clip. You wanted it and said you wanted it even if it did clip, so we've given it to you, up to you if you want to use it or if the clipping annoys you".

 

Given that Lekku clip *anyway* in their 'normal' position, with any back-worn weapon (Jedi Training sabers for instance), that shouldn't be an argument against giving us the option.

 

At the very least, make them look like living and moving appendages, not two conical water-filled sacks dangling behind one's head.

I would love if there were more head accessories, my twi'lek inquisitor needs something on her head since they can't use hoods.

I want the headbands, I want purple/lavender skin tones like wookieepedia says I should be able to have, and there definitely should be a lot more markings/tattoos/makeup options.

I'd be all right with the amputated Lekku if we could use hoods while we have those helmets on. The helmets that allow the hoods to be on when worn aren't shown on for Twi'leks, even though they allow the hood feature for other races. Kind of limits my customization options, either give me the lekku through my helmet or allow my hood to be worn with the helmets that clearly allow it on other races. Probably asking for too much but whatever, armoured Lekku sounds awesome and I was thinking the same thing earlier.
