Ice_bear
i would search but i cant find the search button... it was there before the updated forums but its gone now but anyway i heard people saying they can run it on max with a Geforce 540M and then some people say on high settings besides the shadows being on the low side Specs of my computer I5 2430 2.4ghz turbo 3.0 8gigs of ram Geforce 540M (the gddr3 one with 1GB) and Res is at 1366X768 i mean it can run SC2 on ultra settings at 40FPS (i consider anything 30+fps good)
Matternous
Without shadows, it will definitely suit your needs with 1920 x 1080 and high settings. It's definitely a good notebook GPU EDIT: Even easier on your 1366X768 Res Edited December 16, 2011 by Matternous
Ice_bear
so is there a chance i might be able to pull off full shadows at my res?
Matternous
so is there a chance i might be able to pull off full shadows at my res? Possibly... although the shadows don't look to great anyways so you're not losing that much without them. Trust me; I'm a stickler for having all ultra settings, and in most games shadows are important, but I can't really tell in here.
Daxha
I find that with my 540m at 1366 x 768 that I can set all to high except shadows. If I set shadows to high I can get greater than 30 fps easy... except if i want to move around or fight at all

lukejeremiah
I have the same GPU, but my problem is that the frame rates randomly drops to 10-15fps specially on warzones. It drops for like 3-5 seconds then resumes to its normal frame rates. all low = 50fps all high (w/o shadows) = 30 fps Model: Acer Aspire 4755 CPU: i5-2430m @ 2.4 ghz RAM: 8gigs Vcard: gt540m with 2gig dedicated driver: 301.24 (previously with 296.10, same problems...)
