I've decided that instead of jumping into hyper-space when I go anywhere, my ship will jump into calm-space.
It takes longer and a ton of spice to get anywhere in calm-space, but... much more fun.

In English, a leading X on a word is pronounced like a Z. (zorDEVoro).

I remember the time where I had the time to really enjoy this game and run around the planet, then go to my ship and play it real life, take off the planet, go into hyperspace etc......

Now you open the galactic map and click.

you can still run around to your hearts content, and use the ship. I find it nice to do when starting off a new char, especially as you pick up missions you'd miss but using QT's etc. Of course, on the bigger, more annoying planets, I don't...lol
No Idea if people use these, but if so, here's my referral link
