SteveTheCynic
do you think i will be able to run the game on max settings and get 60 fps? Depends on your screen (1080p will get probably about twice the FPS of a 4K screen) and things like what you're doing. Sitting in an undecorated Coruscant or DK stronghold or your class ship will present a fairly low load, and you'll get significantly higher FPS than if you are in the middle of, say, and 8v8 warzone (especially Yavin with all those leaves) or a 16-man operation. You'll probably get there on 1080p in simple areas, but it will probably struggle a bit in the "low-fps" areas mentioned above. The best things to turn down to recover some FPS are grass distance, shadow quality(1), and reflections. (1) Shadows are terrifyingly expensive (in CPU and GPU time) to calculate well. vergenc
Thanks. I will probably just run the game on high settings then.
MadDutchman
Thanks. I will probably just run the game on high settings then. In general, your best bet is go for a custom profile, tweaking settings until you find something that meets your standards for both performance and prettiness. Shadow Map Resolution is probably the worst culprit I find at murdering performance with very little actual benefit.
