Mestrahd
I've noticed that every class has at least one ability that affects opponent's movement speed. However, having gotten to 50, I haven't seen one mob try to run away and very few melee mobs will walk/run toward you as they have some other gap-closer. So my question is, does something like Force Slow affect attack speed, casting time, or rate-of-fire? Or are they strictly pvp abilities? I think if they DO count against attack/cast speed, it should say so in the tooltip.
MorgonKara
Snare abilities aren't particularly useful in PvE. I do use mine occasionally because Juggernauts have a conditional attack ability that requires the MOB to be snared/immobilized to use it. It also slows melee NPCs that are moving to attack my ranged companion. Edited January 24, 2012 by MorgonKara
Mestrahd
Ok thanks. As long as I haven't been ignoring a key debuff, I'm ok with that. I had relegated them to the pvp aspect of the game when I first saw them, but wondered what I was missing come endgame.
slyvarius
If I do a pull in which a mob has to run to me, I like to slow them. Typically I can burn them down before they get to me.
