Will a HP Pavilion g6-1b60us Laptop work for SWTOR?

I am looking for an inexpensive laptop for my wife to play SWTOR. She won't be playing as much as me and we don't want to spend a lot of money. She found this laptop online and we were curious if it would run SWTOR well enough for her to play PvE.

Hi mate!

Well, the processor is not exactly good, and neither is the video card. I have played SWTOR a bit on my own laptop which has a video card about 50 ranks over the pc you're checking out (according to notebookcheck). The problem is that my card's GPU gets overheated without a cooling board and I struggled getting more than 20-30 fps out of it.

When looking for a computer to run this game you should consider one with a decent amount of RAM (4GB at least, preferably more), a decent graphics card (check notebookcheck and try to land under top 150) and get a processor which isn't made of wood :p

Good luck!

EDIT: To correct the one above me; that laptop indeed has a dedicated video card. Just not a good one :p

Indeed it does! Didn't see it on the features front page (I expect a video card to be mentioned).

I did find it in the specs tab. Radeon 6480G.
