Xerain
This is stupid. You shouldn't lose rating for declinging a rated warzone queue at all. One of our guys said he had to go and left the group right before the queue pop and the 7 of us lost raiting. Take that stupid crap away.

Xerain
So you can send in one person to scout the oposing team before deciding if to join? no ty How would you do that? Each match takes like 2 minutes before it starts and the queue is gone before then.
irishdrunk
What? Start making sense. He made perfect sense. On a ranked ladder, you commit, or you get burnt. Don't que with people that can't commit. Not doing this sets up all kinds of issues with whatever integrity the ranking system has. What he was saying (which made perfect sense) is that, without the hit to rating for leaving a que, you could just have one person join, see that its <That one guild that will beat us> and dodge them. The kind of people that want to pvp on a ranked ladder, are competitive and hardcore.

But no you can't as you can't see what team you're up against before the gates in any of the warzones period And sometimes things happen, hence why I'm legit complaining about this stupid mechanic in place. You don't reward the people that queue dodge, disconnect, or waste the entire other teams time. There are people already leaving warzones and you have to wait out the entire time of the warzone as they won't end early. I don't know how in the world you can use the word "hardcore" when talking about PvP in SWTOR... its about as carebear as it gets.

If you dont want to play. Dont queue. Bet you also complain about getting bans/lockouts for leaving LoL matches.
aarka
I'm happy this is the way it works. And yes, you can scout same faction games very easily.

Did you not see what i said in the OP. We wanted to played and planned on playing so we Queued up, something came up with one of our players and he had to go for something RL and then the Queue popped. And this is a video game it's all a waste of time.

By now most people know of the good players that they hate fighting against or have a hard time winning against. In order to Q dodge them, you send in one guy and have him to /wave (player's name). If they're in that WZ the guy will wave to that player, if not it will default to waving at everyone. That's how you can tell who's on the other side. You emote to a player's name. What needs more actual fixing is the DC resulting in a loss even if you were winning and team ends up winning. People should also be able to get back into the same game if they DC.
