Ok so I just got it to work, after looking at the thread and seeing some people in the same boat as me while others were having no issue, I decided to try something new. I restarted the quest and chose the dark side options for the first two guys you go to on the list(my agent is almost pure light side so I had previously been selecting light side) and this time when entering the casino it triggered. I'm not sure if thats actually the trigger, but if those who are still having trouble want to test it, or if they're already dark side and still having issues then obviously that would debunk my current theory. Regardless hope it helps and good luck to those of you still having issue!

This totally worked for me! Since i already picked the light side choices when I first did this quest, the dark side points didn't affect my character at all! Thanks for this!

EDIT: Dark side points were given to me at the end of the quest, but still was only 200 and i have 8600 Light Side points so it's not a big deal. Just glad it's out of my quest log

You have given me the best suggestion yet! I have only picked light side choices for every quest in the game. I am willing to go dark side for 1 series just to continue her companion line. Getting SCORPIO was a since compared to this nonsense (currently level 44). Here is hoping that this is the last time I have to reset this quest.

Yep taking the dark side choices worked for me giving this a bump so others can see it and not wonder whats wrong with their quest. BTW I think this issue isn't a major deal because most empire (from my experience) are dark side.

I do not pick light side and Kaliyo's Nar Shaddaa companion quest isn't working for me.

I tried this again after hitting 50 and the Dec 27th patch. I chose the Dark Side options for the first two encounters and the Light Side options for the last 2 parts of the quest.

From what I've read in this thread the possible problems with my earlier attempts were taking the Light Side options for the first two encounters. Maybe someone else can check this out. Taking the Dark Side conversation options for the first two parts of the quest let me finish this quest though.

The clue was to choose directly the dark answer at the second target. Because when you dont choose this one the quest bugs. At the first one i choose first introduction and then dark. You must get two times 100 dark points to prevent the bug at the third target.

But for me as light side agent its really annoying.

It is annoying if you're playing Light Side, but you can wipe out the Dark Side points later on down the line.

Want to ask, when do I get this Death Mark quest?

Like what Affection points or what storyline?

I have just finished Alderaan, and my character is lvl 35. Affection points for Kaliyo is above 8000 points. But I haven't got this quest.

Same problem as above. Got over 8800 affection with Kaliyo and I'm level 35. Can't get Death Marks to start. Occasionally the talk to Kaliyo in the ship icon will appear but right clicking on her just gives the usual generic responses and entering the ship doesn't show any interaction with her.

Anyone whose done this have any information on when/how they got it to trigger?

I've tried going to various planets, including the ones that are up ahead in my storyline but that hasn't triggered anything.

Update

I just completed Act 1 and got the Double Agent title after going to Nar Shadaar and signing up with the SIS. Just after talking on the holo my companion quests popped up.

Having the same problem as most and OP in this thread.

Death Marks stuck on step 3, clicking on the table gave me a fade out and "not eligible for this conversation"

While reading this thread, I sent Kaliyo off to sell my grey items. Clicked on the table and it tells me I need Kaliyo. When she came back, the quest was able to proceed. I didn't take any of the Dark sides in the previous two quests.

I had the sam eissue with the what you do for a partner quest. I re-read it and realized it says to use the galaxy map to traval to nar shadda. I had used the chair not the galaxy map, I went back and clicked on the galaxy map and that worked.

I read this post, went back to my ship, flew to Hutta and back using the Galaxy Map (not while sitting in the chair) and the position of the quest marker changed.

I was able to get the "What you do for a partner" quest to work by completing the chain between the end of act 1 and the start of act 2. Theres a quest in the middle of it that makes you go to nar shaddaa briefly, once that was finished, I was able to then travel to nar shaddaa again and trigger the Kaliyo quest. Check to see if your in that situation and if that will fix it.

 

As for the Death Marks quest, I have no clue how to fix that. It's frustrating because I've tried resetting it twice now, and both times I've had to fly around killing the first two dudes. Any help on the matter would be appreciated!

Greetings I am having an issue with this questline. When I arrive on Tatoonie, There is no marker or indication of the location on where to go to continue the storyline.

I have restarted the quest two times and had issues with a couple of other missions doing this but this one doesn’t seem to correct after restart.

*How* did you go to Tatooine? Did you get in your class ship and use the Galaxy map to do it, or did you use some other means?

When a mission tells you to travel to a planet or remote station or remote ship, it means for you to use your ship, and sometimes it even says so. ("Use your ship to travel to Gobbleflibtia") But regardless of whether or not the mission objective says to use your ship, you must use your ship if the mission says to travel to the planet.
