Have been checking out what is needed to be crafting and have to say that the cost of crafting things like Cell Grafts for Biochem is a bit on the high side.

Comparatively speaking, the costs of the Grade 11 Cell Grafts is 5x the cost (materially) of Grade 10. Why such a big increase in mat requirements?

Early farming has not yielded significantly more mats. Even with the convenience of the new Materials Inventory, this stuff is expensive.

As it currently stands, the only thing Biochem can even make that would be useful is the Green Kyrprax Medpac, but they cost about 10,500 each from a med droid vendor. This is cheaper than the cost of making one stack of 6 Green Kyrprax Medpacs (about 90K worth of time and materials.)

 

After that, it gets even worse for Biochem, for example, grade 11 adrenals and stims. The grade 10s adrenals perform about 10% worse at fraction of the cost to make compared with the grade 11s. The grade 10 stims are only 3% worse at the same fraction of effort to make. The only issue with the grade 10s is that their purple and gold versions require Iokath Recombinators, and those are no longer available in 6.0. The blue grade 10s may end up being the preferred stims and adrenals long term unless the devs fix the mess that grade 11 crafting is currently in.

 

Yes, the costs are too high. This is true for all grade 11 crafting. War Supplies now also mix in grade 11 crafting requirements, making their costs go through the roof too.

So ya the mat cost is out of the universe.

I think the devs named it Onslaught because that's what the cost of the three different crafting materials will do to our wallets: be a total Onslaught.
