We were told that Early Access would depend on when we bought/put our pre-order code for the game in.

Knowing this, we bought the game as early as we could, made sure the retailers gave us the code, and put it in.

That's how we were told it would work, and that's what's happening now.

And at no point was anybody ever told they'd get a week until a few days ago.
