Yes, in preferences. You can choose which nametags to display at all times. I have everything on, helps a lot.

Now a bunch of stuff:

1. You can craft using materials stored in your lockbox. You don't have to carry everything with you.
2. You can open your companion's skill tab by pressing ` (tilde).
3. Your companion gains new skills with levels, but sometimes forgets to use them. You have to enable them manually. Remember to check once every couple levels if there's something new.
4. All heroic quests are daily quests.

Going into 'Preferences' and then 'Controls' you can change the max camera distance. The game looks awesome when you pan way out. Much more cinematic.

The default is very low.

Indeed, we now only wait for BW to create a panel to change the size of the annoyingly clumpsy actionbars

press space bar to skip through quest getting, good for skipping the stuff if you seen it before

You can use W,A,S,D to manually pilot your ship instead of your mouse. Helps you avoid stuff and keep firing at the correct spot.

Your companion cannot aggro mobs, but will generate threat normally once combat begins.
