It's how they'll keep you going back again and again trying to get it.

I don't know, I guess I am just unlucky. I have all achievements but the rancor already, and I spent maybe 2.5 mil on it and still not rancor.

As one Achievement hunter to another: trust me, there are different kinds of "unlucky".

5 millions spent so far (all for Smuggler's chips). This is what I won until now (and I'm not interested in any of it, since I already spent few certificates for things I like, I find Rancors as mounts completely ridiculous, and the Vectron speeder looks from behind like a Rakata head so I could never use one without feeling weird). Alas, I'm still missing one certain achievement ... and I already spent more than 2,7 millions just to get the exploding machine (because at roughly 2,3 millions spent I already had both the Vectron and the Rancor).

I disagree with this. I think it is better to win it through chance. That'll keep it more "rare."

why does it need to be more "rare"?

I do care, there is no fun when everyone has the same mount. We have been asking for something unique and we want to keep it that way.

it isnt unique..that would imply that only 1 person has that mount. only a sociopath takes enjoyment out of someone elses discomfort.
