I am a former player, returning to swtor. I have a button on my main's quickbar for the "Rakata Absorb Adrenal", but I do not have it in my inventory any more? What happened? Has it been removed from the game?

Yes, all crafted reusables were removed from the game a while back. They were replaced with artifact quality consumables with a different name than the reusable, so if your character had any rakata absorb adrenals in their inventory or cargo bay (or legacy cargo hold) they should have been converted into an artifact quality level-appropriate consumable absorb adrenal (though I do not recall how the names were changed). However, since that time, biochem crafted reusables were reintroduced for endgame with the addition of the Crisis on Umbara Flashpoint, so it is now possible to obtain schematics for those from a vendor on Odessen.
